गोड्डा : अदाणी समूह ने सोमवार को देशभर में कम से कम 20 स्कूलों के निर्माण के लिए 2,000 करोड़ रुपये दान करने की घोषणा की है। समूह के संस्थापक गौतम अदाणी के छोटे बेटे की शादी के समय समूह ने परमार्थ कार्यों पर 10,000 करोड़ रुपये खर्च करने की घोषणा की थी। समूह ने पहले अस्पतालों के निर्माण के लिए 6,000 करोड़ रुपये और कौशल विकास के लिए 2,000 करोड़ रुपये देने की घोषणा की थी।
अदाणी समूह का जेम्स एजुकेशन के साथ है गठजोड़
गौतम अदाणी के नेतृत्व वाले समूह की परमार्थ इकाई अदाणी फाउंडेशन ने ‘‘देशभर में शिक्षा के मंदिर स्थापित करने के लिए निजी के-12 शिक्षा में वैश्विक अग्रणी जेम्स एजुकेशन के साथ गठजोड़ किया है।’ फाउंडेशन ने अपने बयान में कहा है कि अदाणी परिवार से 2,000 करोड़ रुपये के शुरुआती योगदान के साथ साझेदारी समाज के सभी वर्गों के लोगों के लिए विश्वस्तरीय शिक्षा और सीखने के बुनियादी ढांचे को किफायती बनाने को प्राथमिकता देगी।
इस महीने की शुरुआत में, अदाणी ने अपने छोटे बेटे जीत की शादी के समय सामाजिक कार्यों पर 10,000 करोड़ रुपये खर्च करने की प्रतिबद्धता जताई थी। अदाणी फाउंडेशन फिलहाल 19 राज्यों के 6,769 गांवों में काम करता है।
