झारखंड में स्वास्थ्य क्रांति: बसिया और बिशुनपुर बने सिकल सेल एनीमिया जांच में शत-प्रतिशत लक्ष्य हासिल करने वाले पहले प्रखंड

गुमला: झारखंड के गुमला जिले के बसिया और बिशुनपुर प्रखंडों ने सिकल सेल एनीमिया जांच में राज्य में नया इतिहास रच दिया है। उपायुक्त कर्ण सत्यार्थी की अगुवाई में स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा चलाए जा रहे विशेष अभियान के तहत इन दोनों प्रखंडों में 100 प्रतिशत नागरिकों की सिकल सेल एनीमिया जांच पूरी की जा चुकी है। यह उपलब्धि झारखंड में अपनी तरह की पहली है।

क्या है सिकल सेल एनीमिया और क्यों है यह अभियान जरूरी?
सिकल सेल एनीमिया एक वंशानुगत रक्त विकार है, जिसमें समय पर जांच और उपचार न होने पर गंभीर स्वास्थ्य समस्याएं हो सकती हैं। गुमला प्रशासन ने इस चुनौती को गंभीरता से लेते हुए जिलेभर में व्यापक जांच अभियान चलाया। इस अभियान का मुख्य उद्देश्य है समय रहते बीमारी की पहचान कर मरीजों को आवश्यक उपचार देना और आगे संक्रमण की कड़ी को तोड़ना।

अभियान के आंकड़े और प्रगति:
बसिया प्रखंड में 69,579 और बिशुनपुर में 57,137 नागरिकों की जांच पूरी की जा चुकी है। इसके साथ ही, गुमला राज्य का पहला जिला बन गया है जहां PVTG (प्राथमिकता प्राप्त जनजातीय समूह) समुदाय की भी शत-प्रतिशत जांच पूरी की गई है। अब तक पूरे जिले में 79.67% नागरिकों की सिकल सेल जांच हो चुकी है, जो पूरे झारखंड में सबसे अधिक है।

संस्थागत सहयोग और सुविधाएं:
इस अभियान में सिक्योरिटी प्रिंटिंग एंड मीटिंग कॉरपोरेशन ऑफ इंडिया लिमिटेड (SPMCIL) का विशेष सहयोग रहा। जिले में नियमित स्वास्थ्य जांच शिविरों के माध्यम से लोगों की स्क्रीनिंग की गई। जिन मरीजों में सिकल सेल की पुष्टि हुई, उन्हें हाइड्रोक्सीयूरिया दवा दी जा रही है, और वर्तमान में 158 मरीजों का उपचार चल रहा है।

बेहतर स्वास्थ्य सुविधाओं की स्थापना:
सिकल सेल पीड़ितों के लिए विशेष डे-केयर केंद्र स्थापित किए गए हैं, जहां ब्लड ट्रांसफ्यूजन जैसी सुविधाएं उपलब्ध हैं। रक्त की आपूर्ति सुनिश्चित करने के लिए ब्लड डोनर ग्रुप भी बनाया गया है। इसके अतिरिक्त, रोगियों और वाहकों को विवाह पूर्व परामर्श भी दिया जा रहा है, जिससे बीमारी के प्रसार को रोका जा सके।

उपायुक्त का दृष्टिकोण और आगे की रणनीति:
उपायुक्त कर्ण सत्यार्थी के निर्देश पर यह अभियान जारी है। स्वास्थ्य विभाग शेष आबादी की भी जल्द से जल्द जांच सुनिश्चित करने की दिशा में कार्यरत है। प्रशासन का लक्ष्य है कि गुमला जिला पूरी तरह सिकल सेल मुक्त हो और इस बीमारी से लड़ाई में एक आदर्श स्थापित करे।

यह पहल न केवल स्वास्थ्य के क्षेत्र में एक बड़ी सफलता है, बल्कि यह दिखाता है कि सुनियोजित प्रयासों और प्रशासनिक इच्छाशक्ति से जनस्वास्थ्य की दिशा में बड़ा बदलाव लाया जा सकता है।
