झारखंड सरकार के कैबिनेट निर्णय के खिलाफ PGT शिक्षकों का विरोध, वेतन कटौती से भड़के शिक्षक

गुमला ज़िले में सोमवार को झारखंड प्लस टू शिक्षक संघ के आह्वान पर पोस्ट ग्रेजुएट प्रशिक्षित शिक्षकों ने राज्य सरकार के हालिया कैबिनेट फैसले के खिलाफ विरोध प्रदर्शन किया। सरकार द्वारा माध्यमिक आचार्य पद की संरचना और वेतनमान में कटौती के निर्णय से शिक्षक समुदाय में नाराज़गी है।

झारखंड सरकार के एक हालिया कैबिनेट फैसले ने राज्य के शिक्षकों के बीच गहरी असंतोष की लहर पैदा कर दी है। गुमला ज़िले में सोमवार को झारखंड प्लस टू शिक्षक संघ के प्रांतीय अध्यक्ष योगेंद्र प्रसाद ठाकुर के नेतृत्व में सभी स्नातकोत्तर प्रशिक्षित शिक्षकों ने सरकार के इस निर्णय के खिलाफ जमकर विरोध जताया।

बताया गया कि 8 अप्रैल को हुई कैबिनेट बैठक में सरकार ने PGT (पोस्ट ग्रेजुएट टीचर) और TGT (ट्रेंड ग्रेजुएट टीचर) पदों को समाप्त कर उनकी जगह ‘माध्यमिक आचार्य’ नामक नया पद सृजित किया है। इस नई संरचना के तहत शिक्षकों को अतिरिक्त कक्षाओं का बोझ तो सौंपा गया है, लेकिन उनकी वेतनमान में कटौती कर दी गई है — ग्रेड पे को ₹4800 से घटाकर ₹4200 कर दिया गया है।

इस फैसले का सीधा असर शिक्षकों की मासिक आय पर पड़ेगा, जिससे उन्हें लगभग ₹20,000 प्रति माह कम वेतन मिलेगा। वर्तमान में PGT और TGT शिक्षकों को केंद्र सरकार के अनुरूप वेतनमान प्राप्त होता है।

शिक्षकों ने आशंका जताई कि इस प्रकार की नीति से प्रतिभाशाली युवाओं का रुझान शिक्षण पेशे की ओर कम होगा, जिससे शिक्षा की गुणवत्ता पर सीधा प्रभाव पड़ेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि अगर सरकार इस “शिक्षा विरोधी नीति” को वापस नहीं लेती है, तो पूरे राज्य में व्यापक आंदोलन छेड़ा जाएगा।

संघ की ओर से यह भी स्पष्ट किया गया कि यह विरोध न केवल वेतनमान को लेकर है, बल्कि शिक्षकों के सम्मान और शिक्षा की गरिमा से भी जुड़ा हुआ है।
