डोमचांच स्थित जी.एस. पब्लिक स्कूल में दमकल विभाग ऑफिसर रामचंद्र महतो तथा उनके सहयोगी हेमंत कांडुल्ला के द्वारा विद्यालय के शिक्षक, शिक्षकेतर कर्मी एवं छात्रों को आग पर काबू पाने का प्रशिक्षण दिया गया। विद्यालय के अध्यक्ष प्रदीप कुमार सिंह, निदेशक नितेश कुमार , उप निदेशक नीरज कुमार, प्राचार्य प्रतिमा कुमारी, कोऑर्डिनेटर सोनी चंदन, सीसीए कोऑर्डिनेटर मोहम्मद इलियास के द्वारा मोमेंटो तथा पुष्प गुच्छ भेंट सम्मान स्वरूप दिये गये।प्रशिक्षण के दौरान अधिकारियों द्वारा डेमो के माध्यम से आग फैलने व उसे रोकने के उपाय बताए गए। फायर बिग्रेड का यह कार्यक्रम अग्नि सेवा सप्ताह के तहत किया गया। जिसमे सभी को आग पर काबू पाने और अग्नि सुरक्षा उपकरणों के संचालन के बारे में जानकारी दी गयी। जिला अग्निसमन प्रभारी ने छात्रों को हर तरह से होने वाले आग पर काबू करने के उपाय बताए।उन्होंने कहा कि अचानक आग लगने से घबराना नही है विवेक का इस्तेमाल करके हुए सही तरीके से हम आग पर काबू पाना चाहे तो यह मुश्किल कार्य नही है। वहीं विद्यालय के छात्रों के द्वारा विभिन्न तरह के पोस्टर बनाए गए तथा बच्चों के बीच में आग पर कैसे काबू पाएं उसके बारे में विस्तार पूर्वक जानकारी दी गई। इस कार्यक्रम में सभी शिक्षक तथा बच्चे उपस्थित हुए और आग पर कैसे काबू किया जाए उसके बारे में उन्हें ज्ञान प्राप्त हुआ।
