चार दशक तक कांग्रेस में रहे कोडरमा के पूर्व सांसद तिलकधारी सिंह का निधन, अन्नपूर्णा, बाबूलाल, रवीन्द्र राय, सुदिव्य कुमार व डा. सरफराज अहमद ने शोक संवेदना व्यक्त की,मिलनेवालों का तांता, मंगलवार को होगा अंतिम संस्कार

गिरिडीह : झारखंड के उत्तरी छोटानागपुर की सियासत में चार दशक तक सक्रिय रहकर सत्ता और संगठन के मर्म को समझने वाले  एआईसीसी के कद्दावर वरिष्ठ नेताओं में शुमार कोडरमा के दो बार सांसद रहे तिलकधारी प्रसाद सिंह अब हमारे बीच नहीं रहे. 85 साल की उम्र में सोमवार को दोपहर बाद नवजीवन अस्पताल में उन्होंने अंतिम सांस ली। उनके निधन की खबर के बाद शोक व्यक्त करनेवालों का तांता लगा है। पिछले कई दिनों से वे नवजीवन अस्पताल में आईसीयू में इलाजरत थे।

तिलकधारी सिंह का सियासी सफर

गिरिडीह जिले के देवरी प्रखण्ड के चतरो में बाबू पंचानन सिंह के पुत्र स्व. सिंह तीन भाइयों में सबसे छोटे थे। 1968 में उन्होंने शिक्षक की नौकरी त्याग कर सार्वजनिक जीवन की राह पकडी। 1973 में मुखिया पद का चुनाव लड़ा और जीते. यहीं से उनकी सक्रिय राजनीति की यात्रा शुरू हुई।

1974 में गिरिडीह जिला परिषद के अध्यक्ष बने। 1977 में गिरिडीह जिला कांग्रेस के अध्यक्ष बने। 1980 में कांग्रेस के टिकट पर धनवार विस के विधायक बने। 1984 और 1999 में कोडरमा के सांसद निर्वाचित हुए।

वे अलग राज्य गठन के बाद भी क्षेत्र की समस्याओं को लेकर सक्रिय रहे। उनके चार पुत्रों में कांग्रेस के जिला अध्यक्ष रहे डा. प्रदुम्न सिंह का कुछ सालों पूर्व निधन हो गया। किशोर सिंह और मृत्युन्जय सिंह सेवा में कार्यरत हैं। छोटे पुत्र धनंजय सिंह मौजूदा जिला कांग्रेस के अध्यक्ष हैं।

केन्द्रीय मंत्री अन्नपूर्णां देवी, पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री बाबूलाल मरांडी, प्रदेश भाजपा के कार्यकारी अध्यक्ष डा. रवीन्द्र राय, राज्यसभा सांसद डा. सरफराज अहमद, झारखंड सरकार के मंत्री व गिरिडीह विधायक सुदिव्य कुमार, पूर्व विधायक विनोद सिंह, विधायक डा. मंजू कुमारी समेत कांग्रेस, भाजपा, झामुमो व विभिन्न समाजसेवी संगठनो से जुड़े लोगों ने शोक़ संवेदना व्यक्त की है।

पुत्र धन्जय सिंह के मुताबिक अंतिम संस्कार पैतृक गांव देवरी, चतरो में होगा। इससे पहले पार्थिव शरीर को गिरिडीह जिला परिषद कार्यालय और गिरिडीह जिला कांग्रेस कार्यालय लाया गया, जहां काफी संख्या में लोगों ने दिवंगत आत्मा को श्रद्धांजलि दी।

कांग्रेस के सच्चे सिपाही रहे तिलकधारी के बारे में कहा जाता है कि वे दल के प्रति निष्ठावान थे और समर्पित भाव से कांग्रेस के साथ जुड़े रहे. कई बार उन्हें अन्य दलों से प्रस्ताव मिले लेकिन उन्होंने पार्टी नहीं छोड़ी.

उनके कुछ उल्लेखनीय कार्य

भ्रष्टाचार को लेकर वे हमेशा कहा करते थे पूरे समाज को ही भ्रष्टाचार दीमक की तरह खोखला कर रहा है. उदहारणस्वरूप जिला परिषद के अध्यक्ष रहते हुए 1973 से 1975 के बीच गिरिडीह जिले के सभी प्रखण्डों में 200 की आबादी पर मिडल स्कूल खुलवाया और चरणबद्ध तरीके से करीब ढाई हजार शिक्षकों को योग्यता की आधार पर बहाली करने का काम किया।
