रांची — 1857 की क्रांति में अपनी शहादत देने वाले वीर सपूत शहीद जयमंगल पांडेय के वंशज सचिदानंद पांडेय ने गुरुवार को झारखंड की महामहिम राज्यपाल से मुलाकात की। इस दौरान उन्होंने स्वतंत्रता संग्राम सेनानी परिवारों की उपेक्षा पर चिंता जताते हुए राज्यपाल को एक ज्ञापन सौंपा और झारखंड सरकार से उनके लिए विशेष सुविधाएं सुनिश्चित करने की मांग की।
ऐतिहासिक स्थलों को पर्यटन स्थल के रूप में विकसित करने की मांग
ज्ञापन में प्रमुख रूप से यह मांग की गई कि चतरा का ऐतिहासिक फांसी स्थल — जहाँ शहीद जयमंगल पांडेय, नादिर अली खां और 150 अन्य स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों को अंग्रेजों द्वारा फांसी दी गई थी — को एक संरक्षित पर्यटन स्थल के रूप में विकसित किया जाए। साथ ही, पांडेय का पैतृक गाँव खिरगांव को “आदर्श ग्राम” घोषित कर उसमें मूलभूत सुविधाएं जैसे बिजली, पानी, स्कूल, स्टेडियम और पार्क की व्यवस्था की जाए।
स्वतंत्रता सेनानी आयोग और कल्याणकारी योजनाएं लागू करने की अपील
सचिदानंद पांडेय ने राज्यपाल से आग्रह किया कि झारखंड में एक स्वतंत्रता सेनानी आयोग का गठन किया जाए, जो सेनानी परिवारों की समस्याओं और जरूरतों पर नीति निर्माण का कार्य करे। इसके अतिरिक्त, उन्होंने स्वतंत्रता सेनानी परिवारों को स्वास्थ्य, शिक्षा, सरकारी आवास और यात्रा भत्ता जैसी सुविधाएं प्रदान करने की भी मांग की।
ज्ञापन में यह भी शामिल था कि झारखंड स्थापना दिवस पर सभी स्वतंत्रता सेनानी परिवारों को सम्मानित किया जाए, और जिन सेनानियों ने सर्वोच्च बलिदान दिया है, उन्हें भारत रत्न जैसे राष्ट्रीय सम्मान से नवाजा जाए।
राज्यपाल ने दी सकारात्मक प्रतिक्रिया
राज्यपाल ने इस प्रतिनिधिमंडल की बातों को गंभीरता से सुना और कहा, “आपकी मांगें पूरी तरह से उचित हैं। स्वतंत्रता सेनानी परिवारों की उपेक्षा नहीं होनी चाहिए। मैं इसे राज्य सरकार और भारत सरकार दोनों तक पहुँचाने का कार्य करूंगा। जिन लोगों ने अपने प्राणों की आहुति दी, उन्हें देशभर में उचित सम्मान मिलना चाहिए।”
राज्यपाल ने यह भी सुझाव दिया कि देश के बड़े संस्थानों, पार्कों और मूर्तियों को इन अमर बलिदानियों के नाम से समर्पित किया जाना चाहिए, जिससे आने वाली पीढ़ियाँ उनके योगदान को याद रख सकें।
अन्य सेनानी वंशजों की भी उपस्थिति
ज्ञापन सौंपने के दौरान शहीद शेख भिखारी की परपोती शेख इन्तेसाम अली, शहीद टिकैत उमराव सिंह के परपोते अमित सिंह, और शहीद जीतराम बेदिया के परपोते धनराज बेदिया भी प्रतिनिधिमंडल में शामिल थे। इन सभी ने एक स्वर में मांग की कि सरकार को स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों के वंशजों के कल्याण के लिए ठोस कदम उठाने चाहिए।
सचिदानंद पांडेय ने कहा, “हमारे पूर्वजों ने देश की आज़ादी के लिए अपने प्राण न्योछावर किए, लेकिन आज भी हमें सरकार को उनकी याद दिलानी पड़ रही है। यह सिर्फ हमारी नहीं, पूरे समाज की जिम्मेदारी है कि हम उन वीरों का सम्मान सुनिश्चित करें।”
