रांची के बेकन फैक्ट्री को पुनर्जीवित करने के लिए बहुत जल्द होगा MOU : मंत्री

राज्य में मिलेट कैफेटेरिया खोलने की योजना, 28 से 30 अप्रैल तक तेलंगाना दौरा को लेकर मंत्री शिल्पी नेहा तिर्की ने भी दी जानकारी

रांची : झारखंड की कृषि, पशुपालन एवं सहकारिता मंत्री शिल्पी नेहा तिर्की ने रांची में बंद बेकन फैक्ट्री को पुनर्जीवित करने के लिए बहुत जल्द MOU होने की बात कही है. राष्ट्रीय मांस अनुसंधान केंद्र की भूमिका इस फैक्ट्री के संचालन में नॉलेज पार्टनर की होगी. बंद बेकन फैक्ट्री में जंग लग चुकी मशीनों को बदला जाएगा. मंत्री शिल्पी नेहा तिर्की ने नेपाल हाउस में शनिवार को एक प्रेस वार्ता के दौरान यह जानकारी दी.

मंत्री ने कहा कि झारखंड में शूकर पालन से जुड़े लोगों की संख्या काफी ज्यादा है. एक समय था जब बेकन फैक्ट्री में काम करने वाले कर्मी अध्ययन के लिए डेनमार्क तक गए हैं. आज इतिहास के पन्नों में दर्ज बेकन फैक्ट्री को फिर से पुनर्जीवित करने के विभाग ने पहल की है. मंत्री ने मत्स्य पालन को बढ़ावा देने के संदर्भ में बताया कि नेशन फिशरीज डेवलपमेंट बोर्ड इस दिशा में सहयोग करने को तैयार है.

पर्ल कल्चर को बढ़ावा देने के लिए हजारीबाग का चयन

केंद्र सरकार ने पर्ल कल्चर को बढ़ावा देने के लिए हजारीबाग जिला को चुना है. राज्य के 100 किसानों को विशेष प्रशिक्षण के लिए भेजे जाने की कागजी प्रक्रिया शुरू हो गई है. मंत्री ने कहा कि झारखंड में मोटे अनाज के उत्पादन के लिए इंडियन इंस्टीच्यूट ऑफ मिलेट रिसर्च सेंटर के मॉडल को अपनाने की जरूरत है.

किसान सोचते हैं कि मोटे अनाज की खेती से उनको फायदा नहीं होगा, लेकिन अब ऐसा नहीं है. बाजार में मोटे अनाज की मांग लगातार बढ़ रही है. किसानों को उनकी फसल का उचित मूल्य मिल सके इस ओर सरकार ध्यान दे रही है.
