कटिहार बिहार के फेमस अंतर राज्यीय कोढा ( कोड़ा) ग्रुप के दो शातिर अपराधियों को पलामू के एक बैंक में रेकी करते हुए गिरफ्तार कर गुमला पुलिस लाई गुमला , और न्यायिक हिरासत में लेकर गुमला जेल भेज दिया गया
गुमला – लोहरदगा – सिमडेगा और पलामू आदि क्षेत्रों के विभिन्न बैंकों में रेकी कर उड़ाते थे मोटी रकम

विशेष कर मोटी रकम निकालने वाले अस्वस्थ , वृद्ध महिला – पुरूष को बनाते थे, अपना शिकार

गुमला – गुमला पुलिस कप्तान शंभू कुमार सिंह के निर्देश पर फिलहाल जिले में स्थित बैंकों और एटीएम से ग्राहकों द्वारा पैसा निकालने वाले ग्राहकों से हो रही छिनतई और झपट्टामार की घटनाओं पर चिंता व्यक्त करते हुए जिले के सभी थानों को निर्देश दिया गया है कि बैंक और एटीएम में रेकी करने वालों जल्द से जल्द गिरफ्तारी की जाय इसी क्रम में पलामू बैंक में रेकी करते दो व्यक्तियों को गिरफ्तार किया गया , जो कटिहार बिहार के फेमस अंतर राज्यीय कोड़ा ग्रुप के दो सदस्य पिंकु पासवान और सोनू कुमार यादव को पलामू के एक बैंक में रेकी करते हुए सिसई थाना पुलिस ने गिरफ्तार कर गुमला जिला अंतर्गत स्थित सिसई थाना लाया गया हैं, उक्त कोढा ग्रुप के चार सदस्यों द्वारा गुमला – लोहरदगा – सिमडेगा और पलामू जिला से 12 लोगों को अपना शिकार बना चुके हैं, सिसई के सर्किल इंस्पेक्टर विनय कुमार सिंह ने बताया की 24 मार्च 2025 को एक महिला बैंक से एक लाख रुपए निकालकर अपने स्कूटी के डिक्की में रखी इसी क्रम में अज्ञात चोरों ने उसके स्कूटी के डिक्की से ₹1,00000 ( एक लाख) रुपया उड़ा ले गए , और 24 अप्रैल 2025 को एक महिला बैंक से एक लाख रुपया निकालकर बाजार में सब्जी खरीदने के क्रम में एक अज्ञात व्यक्ति झोली लुकर भागने में सफल रहा, इसके अलावे एक अन्य व्यक्ति से ₹70 ,000 लूट लिया गया , इसके अलावा एसबीआई बैंक गेट से 24 ,000 हजार रुपया तथा बाजार में सब्जी खरीद रही खभया ग्राम निवासी सरसो देवी के झोले में रखे एक लाख रुपया लूट कर एक अज्ञात व्यक्ति भागने में सफल रहा , कोढा ग्रुप के दो गिरफ्तार सदस्य पिकु पासवान और सोनू कुमार यादव ने अपने अपने अपराध स्वीकार करते हुयें बताया की हम लोग मूल रूप से कटिहार बिहार के रहने वाले हैं और कटिहार के फेमस कोढा़गिरोहों के सदस्य हैं , उन्होंने अपने दो अन्य फरार अपराधियों के संबंध में भी सभी जानकारी पुलिस को दे चुके हैं, और उन्होंने यह भी बताया की हमलोग विभिन्न राज्यों के विभिन्न जिलों में चार – पांच की संख्या में ग्रीप बनाकर विभिन्न बैंकों और एटीएम में पहूंचकर , काफी गहराई से रेकी करते हैं और मोटा रकम निकालने वाले , अस्वस्थ , विशेषकर वृद्ध महिला और पुरुषों को अपना शिकार बना कर उक्त चोरी और छिनतई की घटना को अंजाम देते हैं, सर्किल इंस्पेक्टर विनय कुमार सिंह ने बताया की गुमला जिला पुलिस अधीक्षक ( गुमला पुलिस कप्तान शंभू कुमार सिंह ) महोदय के निर्देश पर एक छापामारी दल का गठन किया गया था, जिसमें सिसई थाना प्रभारी संतोष कुमार सिंह ,एस.आई. प्रमोद कुमार , आशीष कुमार , तकनीकी शाखा के अजय कुमार, शंभू कुमार रवि उक्त अभियान से जुड़े हुए थे और गुमला ( गुमला पुलिस कप्तान शंभू कुमार सिंह ) महोदय के निर्देश पर प्राप्त सूचनाओं की सत्यापन और आवश्यक कार्रवाई करते हुए उक्त दोनों अभियुक्तों पिंकु पासवान और सोनू कुमार यादव के पास से उनके द्वारा यूज किया जा रहा मोबाइल, 21, 500 सौ: रुपया नगद, मोबाइल चार्ज, टोपी, पेन , टी-शर्ट , चटाई, कई नाम के पासबुक, और फर्जी नंबर प्लेट लगाकर चला रहे हीरो शाइन मोटरसाइकिल बरामद किया गया है , और आवश्यक पूछताछ के बाद उन्हें न्यायालय में प्रस्तुत कर न्यायिक हिरासत में गुमला जेल भेज दिया गया है।
ज्ञातव्य हैं की कटिहार बिहार का एक फेमस पोढा गिरोह जो एक अंतर राज्यीय गिरोह हैं , जो विभिन्न राज्यों के विभिन्न जिलों के विभिन्न बैंकों में चार , पांच का ग्रुप बनाकर पहूंचते हैं और विभिन्न बैंकों का रेकी कर , वैसे बैंक ग्राहकों को शिकार बनाते जो बैंक ग्राहक शारीरिक रूप से कमजोर होते हैं और जो बैंक से मोंटी रकम निकालते हैं और विशेषकर वृद्ध महिला – पुरुष जो बैंकों से मोटी रकम निकालने के बाद अपने स्कूटी – बाइक के डिक्की और झोलों में अपना रूपया – पैसा , रखकर विभिन्न दुकानों में जाकर घरेलू सामग्रियों की खरीदरी करने निकलते हैं, इसी क्रम में उनका रेकी कर मौका मिलते ही उनके रुपये पैसे ले उड़ाते हैं ।
