गुमला में सिकल सेल एनीमिया की जांच रफ्तार में, अब तक 7 लाख से अधिक लोगों की हो चुकी स्क्रीनिंग

गुमला, 6 मई 2025 — गुमला जिले में सिकल सेल एनीमिया की पहचान और नियंत्रण के लिए चलाए जा रहे विशेष अभियान के अंतर्गत अब तक 7 लाख से अधिक नागरिकों की जांच की जा चुकी है। स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा दी गई जानकारी के अनुसार, कुल 8,51,054 लक्षित आबादी में से 5 मई 2025 तक 7,06,763 लोगों की स्क्रीनिंग पूरी हो चुकी है।

जांच रिपोर्ट के अनुसार:

• 370 लोग सिकल सेल रोग से ग्रसित पाए गए हैं
• 1,747 लोग सिकल सेल ट्रेट (वाहक) के रूप में चिह्नित हुए हैं
• जबकि 1,719 मामलों में रिपोर्ट अपुष्ट (संभावित) है और आगे की जांच की आवश्यकता है

स्वास्थ्य विभाग ने जिले के सभी नागरिकों से नि:शुल्क जांच कराने की अपील की है। विशेषकर उन लोगों को जो अब तक इस अभियान से नहीं जुड़ पाए हैं, उन्हें अपने निकटतम स्वास्थ्य केंद्र में जाकर जल्द से जल्द सिकल सेल की जांच कराने की सलाह दी गई है।

सिकल सेल एनीमिया एक आनुवंशिक रक्त विकार है, जिसमें समय रहते पहचान और इलाज अत्यंत आवश्यक होता है। इस अभियान का उद्देश्य जिले में इस बीमारी की समय पर पहचान कर उचित उपचार सुनिश्चित करना है।

जिला प्रशासन और स्वास्थ्य विभाग ने अभियान को जनजागरूकता से जोड़ते हुए यह भी स्पष्ट किया है कि प्रारंभिक जांच और परामर्श से गंभीर जटिलताओं से बचाव संभव है।
