गुमला, झारखंड | गुरुवार देर रात गुमला जिला मुख्यालय के ललित उरांव बस स्टैंड पर खाना खाने पहुंचे दो स्थानीय युवकों के साथ कुछ नशे में धुत युवकों ने पिस्तौल दिखाकर 5,500 रुपये लूट लिए और मारपीट कर गंभीर रूप से घायल कर दिया।
घटना करीब रात्रि 10:30 बजे की है, जब तिर्री ग्राम (फसिया पंचायत) निवासी 25 वर्षीय हिमालय सिंह और सत्यम सिंह खाना खाने के इरादे से बस स्टैंड पहुंचे थे। पीड़ितों के मुताबिक, चार से अधिक बदमाशों ने उन्हें चारों ओर से घेर लिया और हिमालय सिंह की जेब से 5,500 रुपये निकाल लिए। इसके बाद बदमाशों ने उनसे और पैसा व मोबाइल की मांग करते हुए बेरहमी से मारपीट शुरू कर दी।
पीड़ितों की चीख-पुकार सुनकर पास के दुकानदार और स्थानीय लोग मौके पर पहुंचे, लेकिन तब तक आरोपी वहां से फरार हो चुके थे। बताया जा रहा है कि घटना के वक्त दो महिलाएं भी हमलावरों के साथ थीं।
घायलों को तत्काल गुमला सदर अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया, जहां उनका इलाज डॉक्टरों की निगरानी में चल रहा है। पीड़ितों की हालत गंभीर बताई जा रही है।
प्राथमिकी अब तक दर्ज नहीं की जा सकी है, क्योंकि घटना देर रात की है और पीड़ितों की हालत के कारण पुलिस में बयान नहीं दिया जा सका। पीड़ित हिमालय सिंह ने बताया, “हम जैसे ही खाना खाने पहुंचे, चारों ओर से घेर कर बदमाशों ने लूटपाट शुरू कर दी। विरोध करने पर हमें पीटा गया और जान से मारने की धमकी दी गई। सभी आरोपी नशे में थे।”
गुमला शहर में हाल के दिनों में नशे और असामाजिक गतिविधियों में तेज़ी देखी जा रही है। “शाम अस्त, गुमला मस्त” जैसी कहावतें अब डर और चिंता का विषय बन गई हैं।
पुलिस प्रशासन की ओर से इस मामले पर अब तक कोई औपचारिक प्रतिक्रिया नहीं आई है, लेकिन शहर के नागरिकों और व्यवसायियों ने रात के समय बढ़ती अपराधिक घटनाओं पर कड़ी निंदा की है और सुरक्षा व्यवस्था बढ़ाने की मांग की है।
