मुंबई, मई 2025: 16 मई को सिनेमाघरों में रिलीज हुई आमार बॉस ने दर्शकों के दिलों को छू लिया है और 2025 की सबसे बड़ी बंगाली ओपनर बनकर उभरी है। महज तीन दिनों में फिल्म ने ₹1.10 करोड़ रुपए की शानदार कमाई की है, जो बंगाली सिनेमा के लिए इस साल की अब तक की सबसे ज्यादा वीकेंड ग्रॉसर फिल्म है, जो कि नॉन-हॉलिडे रिलीज के लिए एक शानदार उपलब्धि है।
राखी गुलजार की शानदार वापसी और शिबोप्रसाद मुखर्जी के दिल को छू लेने वाले अभिनय की बदौलत इस फिल्म को अपार प्यार और लोगों की अच्छी प्रतिक्रिया मिली है, जिसकी वजह से सिनेमाघरों में दर्शकों की भीड़ उमड़ पड़ी है।
यह उपलब्धि ऐसे समय में देखी गई है, जब भारत-पाकिस्तान के बीच संवेदनशील तनाव को देखते हुए प्रोडक्शन हाउस थिएटर रिलीज के बजाय ओटीटी को चुन रहे हैं और मनोरंजन उद्योग जटिल बदलावों का सामना कर रहा है।
निर्देशक नंदिता रॉय और शिबोप्रसाद मुखर्जी ने एक संयुक्त बयान में कहा, “हर कहानी उसका सही मंच खोज लेती है। आमार बॉस जैसी फ़िल्में हँसी, आँसू और थिएटर की गर्मजोशी से सफल कहलाती हैं। हम बहुत आभारी हैं कि दर्शकों ने इस सफ़र को बड़े पर्दे पर अपनाने का फ़ैसला किया।”
