गुमला में सिकल सेल एनीमिया जांच ने पकड़ी रफ्तार, अब तक 7.25 लाख से अधिक लोगों की हुई स्क्रीनिंग

गुमला | सिकल सेल एनीमिया को लेकर गुमला जिले में स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा चलाया जा रहा विशेष जांच अभियान तेजी से आगे बढ़ रहा है। जिला प्रशासन के अनुसार, 21 मई 2025 तक कुल 7,24,981 लोगों की जांच की जा चुकी है, जबकि लक्ष्य 8,51,054 व्यक्तियों की जांच का रखा गया है।

इस व्यापक स्वास्थ्य अभियान के अंतर्गत अब तक 410 लोगों में सिकल सेल रोग की पुष्टि हो चुकी है, जबकि 1,754 लोग सिकल सेल ट्रेट यानी वाहक के रूप में चिन्हित किए गए हैं। वहीं, 1,740 मामलों में जांच रिपोर्ट अपुष्ट पाई गई है, जिनकी दोबारा जांच की प्रक्रिया की जा रही है।

नि:शुल्क जांच, जीवनरक्षक कदम

स्वास्थ्य विभाग ने जिले के उन सभी नागरिकों से अपील की है, जिन्होंने अब तक अपनी सिकल सेल जांच नहीं करवाई है, वे अपने नजदीकी स्वास्थ्य केंद्र पर जाकर इस नि:शुल्क जांच का लाभ जरूर उठाएं। अधिकारियों का कहना है कि यह परीक्षण न केवल व्यक्तिगत स्वास्थ्य सुरक्षा के लिए जरूरी है, बल्कि परिवार और समाज की लंबी अवधि की सेहत के लिहाज़ से भी महत्वपूर्ण है।

सिकल सेल क्या है?

सिकल सेल एनीमिया एक अनुवांशिक रक्त विकार है, जिसमें लाल रक्त कोशिकाएं अर्धचंद्राकार (सिकल शेप) बन जाती हैं और शरीर के विभिन्न हिस्सों में ऑक्सीजन का प्रवाह बाधित होता है। यह बीमारी समय पर पहचान और देखभाल से नियंत्रित की जा सकती है, इसलिए प्रारंभिक जांच अत्यंत आवश्यक है।

स्वास्थ्य विभाग की सतर्कता

जिला प्रशासन और स्वास्थ्य विभाग इस दिशा में निरंतर जागरूकता अभियान भी चला रहे हैं ताकि ज्यादा से ज्यादा लोग जांच करवा सकें और समय रहते आवश्यक उपचार या परामर्श ले सकें।

गुमला जिला सिकल सेल नियंत्रण की दिशा में एक अहम मुकाम की ओर बढ़ रहा है। इस सामूहिक स्वास्थ्य पहल में सभी नागरिकों की सक्रिय भागीदारी आवश्यक है, ताकि रोग की समय पर पहचान और रोकथाम सुनिश्चित की जा सके।
