गुमला : – गुमला जिले में सिकल सेल एनीमिया उन्मूलन की दिशा में उपायुक्त गुमला कर्ण सत्यार्थी के नेतृत्व में गुमला जिले में व्यापक जागरूकता एवं जांच अभियान चलाया जा रहा है। इसी क्रम में आज नगर परिषद, गुमला द्वारा नगर भवन परिसर में एक विशेष सिकल सेल एनीमिया जांच शिविर का आयोजन किया गया, जिसमें नगर क्षेत्र के नागरिकों ने बढ़ चढ़ कर भाग लिया।
उपायुक्त ने पूर्व में सभी विभागों को निर्देशित किया था कि वे अपने-अपने क्षेत्राधिकार में शत-प्रतिशत नागरिकों की सिकल सेल एनीमिया जांच सुनिश्चित करें, ताकि जिले को इस गंभीर बीमारी से मुक्त करने की दिशा में प्रभावी कार्रवाई की जा सके। इस निर्देश के आलोक में नगर परिषद द्वारा इस शिविर का आयोजन किया गया।
नगर भवन में आयोजित शिविर में लगभग 120 नागरिकों की जांच की गई, जिसमें से 4 नागरिक सस्पेक्टेड पाए गए। इन संदिग्ध मामलों को आगे की चिकित्सा जांच एवं परामर्श हेतु चिन्हित कर आवश्यक कार्रवाई की जा रही है।
शिविर के आयोजन में नगर परिषद के कार्यपालक पदाधिकारी सरजन मरांडी, सिटी मैनेजर हेलाल अहमद खान, रौनक पांडेय, मुन्ना कुमार, सुजीत राम, रविंद्र मांझी, संदीप उरांव तथा सभी सफाईकर्मियों की सक्रिय भूमिका रही। इनके समन्वित प्रयासों से शिविर सफलतापूर्वक आयोजित हुआ।
इस अवसर पर कार्यपालक पदाधिकारी ने नागरिकों से अपील की कि वे सिकल सेल एनीमिया की जांच अनिवार्य रूप से कराएं, ताकि समय पर निदान एवं उपचार संभव हो सके। उन्होंने बताया कि नगर परिषद द्वारा भविष्य में भी इस प्रकार के स्वास्थ्य शिविरों का आयोजन किया जाएगा।
