गुमला : – गुमला उपायुक्त कर्ण सत्यार्थी के नेतृत्व में गुमला जिला स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा प्रधानमंत्री जनजाति न्याय महा अभियान (PM-JANMAN) के अंतर्गत विशेष रूप से कमजोर जनजातीय समूहों (PVTG) के सर्वांगीण विकास हेतु विभिन्न प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं। इसी क्रम में जिले में छह चलंत मेडिकल यूनिट्स (Mobile Medical Units – MMUs) की तैनाती की गई है, जिनका उद्देश्य दूर-दराज और दुर्गम इलाकों में निवास करने वाले आदिवासी समुदायों को सुलभ, समर्पित और गुणवत्तापूर्ण स्वास्थ्य सेवाएं उपलब्ध कराना है।
गुमला जिले के बिरजिया, असुर, बिरहोर जैसे लगभग 3,475 PVTG परिवारों को यह सेवाएं सीधे उनके घर-द्वार तक पहुँच रही हैं। ये चलंत इकाइयाँ पूरी तरह से सुसज्जित हैं, जिनमें डॉक्टर, नर्स, फार्मासिस्ट और आयुष्मान मित्र शामिल हैं। ये टीमें प्रतिदिन 2 से 3 गाँवों का दौरा करती हैं और प्रत्येक माह लगभग 30 से 40 गाँवों को सेवाएं प्रदान करती हैं। इकाइयों के माध्यम से किट-आधारित त्वरित परीक्षण, चिकित्सकीय परामर्श, मानसिक स्वास्थ्य संबंधी परामर्श, मधुमेह व उच्च रक्तचाप जैसे गैर-संचारी रोगों की जांच, आयुष्मान भारत गोल्डन कार्ड का निर्गमन तथा गंभीर रोगियों को गुमला जिला अस्पताल में रेफर कर समुचित इलाज की सुविधा सुनिश्चित की जाती है।
गुमला के कई दूरवर्ती क्षेत्रों में पूर्व में स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं की गंभीर कमी थी। अनेक गांवों में प्राथमिक उपचार की भी सुविधा नहीं थी और मरीजों को इलाज के लिए 10 से 20 किलोमीटर तक की दूरी तय करनी पड़ती थी। इस चुनौती को ध्यान में रखते हुए इन चलंत इकाइयों की शुरुआत की गई, जिससे समुदायों को समय पर उपचार मिल सके और उनके स्वास्थ्य स्तर में सुधार हो।
अब तक 10 हजार से अधिक लोगों ने इन चलंत इकाइयों से लाभ लिया है, जिनमें से 80 प्रतिशत लोगों ने पहली बार अपने ही गाँव में स्वास्थ्य सेवा का लाभ उठाया। मधुमेह और उच्च रक्तचाप जैसे रोगों की पहचान कर सैकड़ों लोगों को दवा और नियमित फॉलोअप की सुविधा दी गई है। मानसिक स्वास्थ्य जैसे संवेदनशील विषयों पर भी इन इकाइयों के माध्यम से 500 से अधिक लोगों को परामर्श दिया गया है, जिससे तनाव, अवसाद और चिंता जैसी समस्याओं का समाधान संभव हुआ है। गंभीर बीमारियों से पीड़ित 200 से अधिक लोगों को गुमला जिला अस्पताल रेफर कर सफल इलाज कराया गया है।
इसके अतिरिक्त जागरूकता शिविरों के माध्यम से समुदायों को स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं के प्रति जागरूक किया गया है, जिससे अब लगभग 70 प्रतिशत परिवार नियमित स्वास्थ्य जांच कराने के लिए आगे आ रहे हैं, जो पूर्व में मात्र 10 प्रतिशत था। PM-JANMAN के माध्यम से PVTG समुदायों की आवश्यकताओं को प्राथमिकता दी जा रही है।
