गुमला :- गुमला उपायुक्त कर्ण सत्यार्थी के निर्देशानुसार जिले में सामाजिक कुरीतियों एवं जनस्वास्थ्य से जुड़ी समस्याओं की रोकथाम के लिए विभिन्न स्तरों पर प्रभावी कदम उठाए जा रहे हैं। इसी क्रम में आज दिनांक बुधवार को चैनपुर अनुमंडल पदाधिकारी पूर्णिमा कुमारी की अध्यक्षता में चैनपुर अनुमंडल अंतर्गत सभी हाई स्कूल एवं प्लस टू विद्यालयों के प्रधानाध्यापकों के साथ एक महत्वपूर्ण बैठक आयोजित की गई। बैठक का उद्देश्य युवाओं में नशीली दवाओं एवं मादक पदार्थों के सेवन के दुष्परिणामों को लेकर जागरूकता फैलाना, सड़क दुर्घटनाओं में कमी लाना तथा बाल विवाह जैसी सामाजिक कुप्रथा को जड़ से समाप्त करना था।
बैठक में अनुमंडल क्षेत्र के सभी सरकारी हाई स्कूल एवं + 2 विद्यालयों के प्रधानाध्यापक उपस्थित रहे। सभी प्रतिभागियों ने विद्यार्थियों को संवेदनशील विषयों पर जागरूक करने हेतु विद्यालय स्तर पर प्रभावी जागरूकता कार्यक्रम संचालित करने की आवश्यकता पर बल दिया।
अनुमंडल पदाधिकारी, चैनपुर ने प्रधानाध्यापकों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि विद्यालय सिर्फ शिक्षा देने का केंद्र नहीं है, बल्कि सामाजिक परिवर्तन का आधार भी है। उन्होंने निर्देश दिया कि प्रत्येक विद्यालय में नियमित रूप से नशामुक्ति, सड़क सुरक्षा एवं बाल विवाह विरोधी जागरूकता अभियान चलाया जाए। इसके साथ ही विद्यार्थियों को नशे से दूर रखने के लिए परामर्श, पोस्टर, नाटक, निबंध प्रतियोगिता जैसे माध्यमों से प्रेरित करने की बात कही गई।
