कोयल नदी किनारे अवैध बालू खनन पर जिला प्रशासन की बड़ी कार्रवाई, 29,500 घनफीट बालू जब्त

गुमला | जिले में अवैध खनन और बालू भंडारण पर रोक लगाने के लिए जिला प्रशासन ने 21 मई 2025 को सख्त कदम उठाते हुए गुमला थाना क्षेत्र के कोयल नदी के समीप मौजा-कोयंजारा, पंचायत कसीरा में औचक जांच और छापेमारी की। इस कार्रवाई का नेतृत्व वन प्रमंडल पदाधिकारी ने किया, जिसमें जिला खनन पदाधिकारी, खान निरीक्षक और सशस्त्र पुलिस बल की उपस्थिति रही।

29,500 घनफीट अवैध बालू का भंडारण उजागर

जांच के दौरान कोयल नदी के किनारे दो स्थानों पर लगभग 23,000 घनफीट और 6,500 घनफीट, कुल 29,500 घनफीट बालू अवैध रूप से संग्रहित पाया गया। इस बालू को 22 मई को ज़ब्त करते हुए पंचायत के मुखिया प्रतिनिधि को निगरानी हेतु सौंप दिया गया है।

वन क्षेत्र में ट्रैक्टर जब्त, विधिक कार्रवाई जारी

उक्त स्थल वन क्षेत्र के अंतर्गत आने के कारण वहां मौजूद एक ट्रैक्टर को भी वन विभाग की टीम ने जब्त किया है। संबंधित व्यक्ति के विरुद्ध वन अधिनियम तथा अन्य सुसंगत कानूनों के तहत कानूनी कार्यवाही की जा रही है।

कानूनी प्रावधानों का उल्लंघन दंडनीय अपराध

जिला प्रशासन ने स्पष्ट किया है कि बिना वैध पट्टा या अनुज्ञप्ति के खनिजों का उत्खनन, संग्रहण एवं परिवहन करना झारखंड लघु खनिज समन्वय नियमावली, 2004 के नियम 4 और 54 तथा झारखंड मिनरल्स (अवैध खनन, परिवहन और भंडारण की रोकथाम) नियम, 2017 के नियम 7 और 9 के अंतर्गत दंडनीय अपराध है। साथ ही, यह कार्य भारतीय न्याय संहिता की प्रासंगिक धाराओं के तहत भी अपराध की श्रेणी में आता है।

प्रशासन की सख्त चेतावनी

जिला प्रशासन ने चेतावनी दी है कि अवैध खनन में संलिप्त किसी भी व्यक्ति को बख्शा नहीं जाएगा और इस तरह की गतिविधियों के विरुद्ध निरंतर कठोर कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाएगी। प्रशासन ने जनता से अपील की है कि वे इस तरह के कार्यों से दूर रहें और किसी भी संदिग्ध गतिविधि की सूचना तत्काल प्रशासन को दें।

गुमला प्रशासन अवैध खनन के विरुद्ध अपनी निगरानी और कार्रवाई को लगातार सशक्त कर रहा है, ताकि प्राकृतिक संसाधनों का संरक्षण सुनिश्चित किया जा सके और पर्यावरणीय संतुलन बना रहे।
