एनएसएस की अगुवाई में चला विश्वविद्यालय में स्वच्छता अभियान, खुद झाड़ू उठाकर उतरे कुलपति

हजारीबाग | विनोबा भावे विश्वविद्यालय के नए कुलपति प्रोफेसर चंद्र भूषण शर्मा ने कार्यभार संभालने के मात्र चार दिन बाद स्वच्छता को लेकर अपनी प्रतिबद्धता दर्शाते हुए एक विशेष सफाई अभियान की शुरुआत की। बुधवार, 22 मई की सुबह उन्होंने कलाभवन परिसर में स्वयं झाड़ू लगाकर अभियान का नेतृत्व किया, जिसमें एनएसएस की यूनिट्स और शिक्षकों ने बढ़-चढ़कर भाग लिया।

सुबह 7 बजे शुरू हुए इस अभियान में विश्वविद्यालय लॉ कॉलेज और यूसेट (USET) की एनएसएस इकाइयों के लगभग 125 स्वयंसेवक उपस्थित रहे। कुलपति के आगमन के साथ ही सफाई का कार्य तेज़ी से आरंभ हुआ, जहां उन्होंने स्वयं भवन की सीढ़ियों, विभागीय कक्षों और बंद नालियों की सफाई की निगरानी की, और कई स्थानों पर खुद श्रमदान करते नजर आए।

छात्रों और शिक्षकों में उत्साह का संचार

कुलपति द्वारा स्वयं झाड़ू उठाकर सफाई करते देख एनएसएस के छात्र-छात्राओं और शिक्षकों में विशेष उत्साह देखा गया। कुछ ही समय में यह गतिविधि एक सामूहिक अभियान का रूप ले चुकी थी।
डॉ. रश्मि प्रधान (प्राचार्य, लॉ कॉलेज), डॉ. लक्ष्मी सिंह (प्रोग्राम ऑफिसर, लॉ कॉलेज एनएसएस), और डॉ. खेमलाल महतो (प्रोग्राम ऑफिसर, यूसेट एनएसएस) भी अभियान के दौरान मौजूद रहे और छात्रों का मार्गदर्शन किया।

भवन के कोने-कोने तक पहुंचा अभियान

प्रोफेसर शर्मा ने सफाई के दौरान उपयोग में नहीं लाई जा रही सीढ़ियों पर लगे ताले तुड़वाए, और वहां भी सफाई सुनिश्चित कराई। उन्होंने हिंदी और संस्कृति विभाग के परिसरों, भवन की छत, और पानी की टंकियों तक जाकर निरीक्षण किया और सफाई कराई।

बारिश के कारण कई स्थानों पर पानी जमा था और बंद नालियों में कचरा अटका हुआ था। कुलपति ने अपने हाथों से नालियों को साफ किया और छात्रों को स्वच्छता के महत्व को लेकर प्रेरित किया।

कर्मियों से भी पूछी सफाई व्यवस्था की स्थिति

सफाई के निर्धारित समय पर जब नियमित सफाईकर्मी पहुंचे, तो कुलपति ने उनसे सीधे सवाल किया — “आपके रहते यहां इतनी गंदगी क्यों है?” उन्होंने सफाई व्यवस्था की समीक्षा की और उसमें सुधार के निर्देश भी दिए।

“स्वच्छता एक आदत बने” – कुलपति की सीख

अभियान के समापन पर विद्यार्थियों को संबोधित करते हुए कुलपति ने कहा:

“पहला प्रयास यह होना चाहिए कि हम खुद गंदगी न करें। दूसरा, यदि कोई गंदा कर रहा है, तो हमें उसे टोकना चाहिए। विश्वविद्यालय हम सबका है, इसकी स्वच्छता की जिम्मेदारी भी हम सभी की है।”

उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों से आग्रह किया कि वे स्वच्छता की आदत को अपनाएं और दूसरों को भी प्रेरित करें।

प्रो. शर्मा का यह कदम न केवल स्वच्छता की ओर एक ठोस पहल है, बल्कि यह दिखाता है कि नेतृत्व जब खुद उदाहरण प्रस्तुत करता है, तो उसका असर दूरगामी होता है। विश्वविद्यालय परिसर को स्वच्छ और अनुशासित बनाए रखने की यह मुहिम, एक सांकेतिक सफाई अभियान से आगे बढ़कर जागरूकता और सहभागिता का प्रतीक बन गई है।
