बाल विवाह से बची आठवीं की छात्रा, चाइल्ड हेल्पलाइन की तत्परता से टली नाबालिग की शादी

गुमला, झारखंड — गुमला जिले के पालकोट प्रखंड में एक 14 वर्षीय किशोरी को बाल विवाह का शिकार होने से बाल कल्याण समिति और चाइल्ड हेल्पलाइन की तेज़ कार्रवाई ने बचा लिया। यह मामला तब सामने आया जब किशोरी के माता-पिता उसकी शादी की तैयारी कर रहे थे, और इसकी सूचना चाइल्ड हेल्पलाइन नंबर 1098 पर किसी जागरूक व्यक्ति द्वारा दी गई।

सूचना मिलते ही चाइल्डलाइन की टीम मौके पर पहुंची और प्राथमिक जांच में मामला सत्य पाया गया। इसके बाद जिला बाल संरक्षण पदाधिकारी को सूचित किया गया। निर्देश मिलते ही रात में एक टीम को परिवार के पास भेजा गया, जहां अधिकारियों ने परिजनों को बाल विवाह की कानूनी गंभीरता और सामाजिक दुष्परिणामों के बारे में समझाया।

बाल कल्याण समिति के समक्ष पेशी

किशोरी और उसके परिवार को बाल कल्याण समिति (CWC) के समक्ष प्रस्तुत किया गया। समिति ने आवश्यक प्रक्रियाएं पूरी करने के बाद परिजनों को सख्त चेतावनी देते हुए बाल विवाह न करने का आदेश दिया, और किशोरी को उनके सुपुर्द कर दिया।

पढ़ाई कर रही है किशोरी

सूत्रों के अनुसार, यह किशोरी फिलहाल आठवीं कक्षा की छात्रा है और उसकी उम्र मात्र 14 वर्ष है। यदि यह विवाह होता, तो उसकी शिक्षा और भविष्य दोनों ही अंधकारमय हो जाते।

जागरूकता की ज़रूरत

जिला बाल संरक्षण पदाधिकारी ने इस मामले को उदाहरण के तौर पर लेते हुए आम नागरिकों से अपील की है कि बाल विवाह, बाल मजदूरी और बाल तस्करी जैसे सामाजिक अपराधों को रोकने में वे सहयोग करें। उन्होंने कहा, “ऐसे मामलों की सूचना तत्काल 1098 चाइल्ड हेल्पलाइन नंबर पर दें। सूचना देने वाले की पहचान पूरी तरह से गुप्त रखी जाती है।”

नोट: भारत में 18 वर्ष से कम उम्र की लड़कियों का विवाह कानूनन अपराध है। समाज को मिलकर ऐसी प्रथाओं के विरुद्ध आवाज़ उठानी होगी, तभी हर बच्चा सुरक्षित और सम्मानपूर्वक जीवन जी सकेगा।
