गुमला, 5 जून — गुमला सदर थाना क्षेत्र के सांवरिया गांव में बुधवार रात करीब 8 बजे एक युवक पर जानलेवा हमला हुआ। 28 वर्षीय अगनु गोप को टांगी और लाठी-डंडों से बुरी तरह पीटा गया, जिसके बाद हमलावर उसे मृत समझकर मौके से फरार हो गए। गंभीर रूप से घायल अगनु को खून से लथपथ और अचेत अवस्था में गांव के अखड़ा के पास पड़ा देख ग्रामीणों ने तत्काल पुलिस को सूचना दी।
सूचना मिलते ही गुमला सदर थाना के एसआई गफ्फार अंसारी अपनी टीम के साथ घटनास्थल पर पहुंचे और छानबीन के बाद घायल अगनु गोप को पुलिस वाहन से गुमला सदर अस्पताल पहुंचाया। जहां प्राथमिक उपचार के बाद डॉक्टरों ने उसकी हालत गंभीर देखते हुए रांची रिम्स रेफर कर दिया।
पुलिस के अनुसार घटना पूर्व में हुई आपसी रंजिश का नतीजा हो सकती है। बताया गया कि कुछ दिन पहले अगनु गोप की गांव के ही रिसा उरांव से झड़प हुई थी, जिसे पुलिस ने हस्तक्षेप कर शांत कराया था। इस संदर्भ में घायल के छोटे भाई नरेश गोप ने रिसा उरांव और एक अन्य व्यक्ति पर शक जाहिर किया है।
फिलहाल पुलिस ने मामला दर्ज कर जांच शुरू कर दी है और संदिग्धों की तलाश जारी है। गांव में घटना के बाद से दहशत का माहौल बना हुआ है।
