अहमदाबाद, 5 जून 2025 : भारत के सबसे बड़े निजी हवाई अड्डे के ऑपरेटर और अदाणी एंटरप्राइजेज लिमिटेड की सहायक कंपनी अदाणी एयरपोर्ट्स होल्डिंग्स लिमिटेड (एएएचएल) ने अंतर्राष्ट्रीय बैंकों के एक समूह से 750 मिलियन अमेरिकी डॉलर की फंडिंग जुटाई है। यह फंडिंग ईसीबी के माध्यम से की गई है। इस फंडिंग का नेतृत्व फर्स्ट अबू धाबी बैंक, बार्कलेज पीएलसी और स्टैंडर्ड चार्टर्ड बैंक ने किया है।
इस फंडिंग का उपयोग 400 मिलियन डॉलर के पुराने कर्ज को चुकाने और अहमदाबाद, लखनऊ, मंगलुरु, जयपुर, गुवाहाटी और तिरुवनंतपुरम हवाईअड्डों में इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर और सुविधाओं को बेहतर बनाने में किया जाएगा। साथ ही, रिटेल, फूड एंड बेवरेज, ड्यूटी फ्री और अन्य सेवाओं जैसे गैर-एविएशन बिजनेस को भी मजबूत किया जाएगा।
वित्त वर्ष 2024-25 में एएएचएल ने 94 मिलियन यात्रियों को सेवा दी, जबकि इसकी कुल क्षमता 110 मिलियन यात्रियों की है। इसके अलावा कंपनी का लक्ष्य चरणबद्ध विकास के माध्यम से 2040 तक इसे बढ़ाकर 300 मिलियन यात्रियों सालाना तक पहुंचाना है। इस योजना का एक अहम हिस्सा नवी मुंबई इंटरनेशनल एयरपोर्ट है, जो जल्द ही चालू होगा। पहले चरण में इसकी क्षमता 20 मिलियन यात्रियों की होगी, जिसे बाद में चरणबद्ध तरीके से बढ़ाकर 90 मिलियन तक किया जाएगा, जिससे मुंबई क्षेत्र के एविएशन इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर को काफी बढ़ावा मिलेगा।
अदाणी एयरपोर्ट्स के सीईओ अरुण बंसल ने कहा, “दुनिया की प्रमुख वित्तीय संस्थाओं ने हम पर जो भरोसा जताया है, वह भारत के एविएशन इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर की दीर्घकालिक क्षमता और महत्व को दर्शाता है। एएएचएल बेहतरीन कस्टमर एक्सपीरियंस देने के अपने लक्ष्य की ओर तेजी से बढ़ रहा है। हम तकनीक का उपयोग कर संचालन को आसान बना रहे हैं और अपने एयरपोर्ट नेटवर्क में सतत विकास और सामुदायिक भागीदारी को प्राथमिकता दे रहे हैं। हमारी यह यात्रा जारी है और एएएचएल ‘गेटवे टू गुडनेस’ के अपने वादे पर कायम है। हम ग्राहक-केंद्रित समाधान दे रहे हैं और ऐसी विश्वस्तरीय हवाईअड्डा संरचना बना रहे हैं, जो सेवा और स्थायित्व के क्षेत्र में वैश्विक मानक तय करे।”
इस सौदे में लैथम एंड वॉटकिंस एलएलपी और लिंक्लेटर्स एलएलपी ने इंग्लिश कानून के तहत, जबकि सिरिल अमरचंद मंगलदास और टीटी एंड ए ने भारतीय कानून के तहत सलाहकार की भूमिका निभाई है।
