विनोबा भावे विश्वविद्यालय, हज़ारीबाग द्वारा उच्च एवं तकनीकी शिक्षा विभाग, झारखण्ड सरकार के निर्देशानुसार आज जिले के प्रमुख कोचिंग संस्थानों एचीवर्स क्लासेज एवं विज्ञान अकादमी में नशा विरोधी जागरूकता अभियान चलाया गया। इस अभियान का उद्देश्य युवाओं को मादक पदार्थों के दुष्प्रभावों से अवगत कराना और उन्हें नशे से दूर रहने के लिए प्रेरित करना है।
कार्यक्रम में अर्थशास्त्र विभाग, वि. भा. वि. के शोध छात्र संतोष पंडित, पुष्कर कुमार पुष्प, आरती मेहता सहित अन्य शोधार्थियों ने भाग लिया। विद्यार्थियों को नशे से होने वाले शारीरिक, मानसिक और सामाजिक नुकसान के बारे में बताया गया तथा उन्हें “नशा मुक्त भारत” का संदेश दिया गया।
एचीवर्स क्लासेज के निदेशक श्री अजय ठाकुर और श्री अरविंद ठाकुर ने इस अभियान की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि युवाओं को नशे जैसी सामाजिक बुराइयों से दूर रखना आज की सबसे बड़ी आवश्यकता है। उन्होंने कहा कि शैक्षणिक संस्थानों को इस दिशा में विश्वविद्यालयों के प्रयासों में सहयोग करना चाहिए, क्योंकि युवा ही देश का भविष्य हैं।
विज्ञान अकादमी के निदेशक श्री आदर्श आनंद ने भी इस पहल में सक्रिय सहभागिता निभाई। उन्होंने कहा कि नशे से दूरी केवल व्यक्ति की भलाई नहीं, बल्कि सम्पूर्ण समाज की सुरक्षा है। उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों से आग्रह किया कि वे नशे से दूर रहें और अपने आस-पास के लोगों को भी इसके प्रति जागरूक करें।
इस अभियान का संचालन नोडल पदाधिकारी डॉ. उमेन्द्र सिंह, सहायक प्राध्यापक, अर्थशास्त्र विभाग, विनोबा भावे विश्वविद्यालय के मार्गदर्शन में किया जा रहा है।
कार्यक्रम में दोनों कोचिंग संस्थानों के विद्यार्थियों की उल्लेखनीय सहभागिता रही। विद्यार्थियों ने नशा उन्मूलन की शपथ ली और इसे अपने जीवन का संकल्प बनाने की प्रतिबद्धता जताई।
