गुमला में अंतरराष्ट्रीय ओलंपिक दिवस पर हुआ विविध खेल प्रतियोगिताओं का आयोजन

गुमला : – गुमला जिला में अंतरराष्ट्रीय ओलंपिक दिवस के अवसर पर दिनांक 23 जून 2025 को गुमला जिला प्रशासन एवं खेल विभाग के तत्वावधान में विभिन्न खेल गतिविधियों का आयोजन उत्साहपूर्वक संपन्न हुआ। कार्यक्रम की अगुवाई जिला खेल पदाधिकारी मनोज कुमार द्वारा की गई, जिसमें जिले के आवासीय, डे बोर्डिंग, क्रीड़ा किसलय, खेलो इंडिया सेंटर एवं विभिन्न खेल अकादमियों के लगभग 200 खिलाड़ियों ने भाग लिया।

दिन की शुरुआत 11 किलोमीटर क्रॉस कंट्री दौड़ से हुई, जिसमें बालक वर्ग में आकाशदीप किंडो, बांधना संगा और सुदर्शन उरांव क्रमशः पहले, दूसरे एवं तीसरे स्थान पर रहे, वहीं बालिका वर्ग में अनीशा उरांव, दीपिका सोरेन और सुमन उरांव ने उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन करते हुए क्रमशः प्रथम, द्वितीय और तृतीय स्थान प्राप्त किया।

वॉलीबॉल प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन डे बोर्डिंग प्रशिक्षण केंद्र में किया गया, जिसका उद्घाटन भरनो थाना प्रभारी द्वारा स्वयं सर्विस कर किया गया। उन्होंने खिलाड़ियों को अनुशासन, मेहनत और लगन के साथ खेल के क्षेत्र में आगे बढ़ने के लिए प्रेरित किया तथा विजेता और उपविजेता टीमों को पुरस्कार प्रदान किया।

संत इग्नसुस विद्यालय, गुमला में हॉकी प्रतियोगिता आयोजित की गई, जिसमें स्थानीय हॉकी प्रशिक्षिका बीना केरकेट्टा एवं अन्य प्रशिक्षकों की देखरेख में खिलाड़ियों ने शानदार प्रदर्शन किया।

वहीं संत इग्नसुस जुबली स्टेडियम में अंडर-17 आवासीय सेंटर और अंडर-15 डे बोर्डिंग टीम के बीच फुटबॉल मुकाबला हुआ, जिसमें डे बोर्डिंग टीम ने 2-0 से जीत दर्ज की। इस मैच में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में अंतरराष्ट्रीय फुटबॉलर अंकित टोप्पो उपस्थित रहे, साथ ही फुटबॉल प्रशिक्षक रिजवान अली एवं जिला खेल पदाधिकारी मनोज कुमार ने खिलाड़ियों का उत्साहवर्धन किया एवं उनके उज्ज्वल भविष्य की कामना की।

कामडारा स्थित डे बोर्डिंग गर्ल्स हॉकी ट्रेनिंग सेंटर में भी ओलंपिक दिवस के अवसर पर बालक एवं बालिका वर्ग के बीच फुटबॉल मुकाबले खेले गए। बालकों में टीम बी ने टीम ए को 2-0 से पराजित कर जीत दर्ज की, वहीं बालिकाओं में टीम ए ने टीम बी को 1-0 से हराया। साथ ही पेंटिंग, क्विज एवं अन्य रचनात्मक गतिविधियों का आयोजन भी किया गया, जिसमें खिलाड़ियों ने ओलंपिक दिवस की थीम पर अपनी प्रतिभा का प्रदर्शन किया।

कार्यक्रम में डीएसपी मुख्यालय प्रवीण टोप्पो, प्रशिक्षक मनोज कुमार पाल, इमरान अली, महावीर राम लोहरा, मंत्री प्रतिनिधि सुनील उरांव सहित कई पदाधिकारी एवं प्रशिक्षक उपस्थित रहे।

जिला खेल पदाधिकारी मनोज कुमार ने इस अवसर पर कहा कि ओलंपिक दिवस केवल खेलों का उत्सव नहीं, बल्कि युवाओं में अनुशासन, समर्पण और सकारात्मक सोच विकसित करने का माध्यम भी है। उन्होंने सभी प्रतिभागियों को बधाई देते हुए भविष्य में बेहतर प्रदर्शन की शुभकामनाएं दीं।
