डालटनगंज,(पलामू) : पलामू रेंज के डीआईजी नौशाद आलम ने पुलिस अधिकारियों को अपने मोबाइल में स्पष्ट वर्दी वाला प्रोफाइल डीपी लगाने का निर्देश दिया है। इस संबंध में पलामू, गढ़वा, लातेहार एसपी, सभी एसडीपीओ एवं सभी पुलिस अधिकारियों को निर्देश जारी किया गया है।
इस संबंध में डीआईजी की तरफ से जारी निर्देश में कहा गया है कि ऐसा देखा जा रहा है कि कुछ पुलिस पदाधिकारी एवं कर्मी अपने सरकारी मोबाइल फोन के प्रोफाइल में व्यक्तिगत पारिवारिक एवं गैर वर्दीधारी तस्वीर लगा रहे हैं।
इसके कारण आम जनता में भ्रमित होती हैं और इसका पुलिस विभाग की छवि पर नकारात्मक प्रभाव पड़ता है। डीआईजी के द्वारा जारी निर्देश में कहा गया है कि यह समझना महत्वपूर्ण है कि पुलिस पदाधिकारी की पहचान उसकी वर्दी, कर्तव्य और पारदर्शिता से जुड़ी होती है। वर्दी में लगी तस्वीर एक पुलिस पदाधिकारी कर्मी की आधिकारिक पहचान है।
निर्देश में कहा गया है कि सरकारी मोबाइल फोन का उपयोग मुख्य रूप से आधिकारिक संचार और जनता के साथ संपर्क स्थापित करने के लिए किया जाता है। ऐसे में आवश्यक है कि सरकारी मोबाइल फोन पर उपयोग की जानेवाली डीपी स्पष्ट रूप से बताए कि संपर्क करनेवाला व्यक्ति पुलिस पदाधिकारी या कर्मी हैं।
