बीमार महिला को कंधे पर उठाकर 5 किमी दूर पहुंचाया अस्पताल, सड़क विहीन टुडूरमा गांव की मार्मिक तस्वीर

गुमला — झारखंड के गुमला जिले में रायडीह प्रखंड स्थित टुडूरमा गांव से एक दर्दनाक तस्वीर सामने आई है, जहाँ एक गंभीर रूप से बीमार महिला को ग्रामीणों ने सिकाभार (बहंगी) में बैठाकर पाँच किलोमीटर दूर मुख्य सड़क तक पहुंचाया। यह घटना न केवल शासन-प्रशासन की उपेक्षा को उजागर करती है, बल्कि आदिवासी बहुल दूरदराज़ इलाकों की दुखद हकीकत भी सामने लाती है जहाँ न तो सड़क है, न यातायात, और न ही बुनियादी स्वास्थ्य सुविधाएँ।

परिजनों के अनुसार, सुभद्रा देवी नामक महिला की तबीयत मंगलवार को अचानक बिगड़ गई। गांव तक कोई वाहन या एम्बुलेंस नहीं पहुंच सकता था, ऐसे में जंगल, कीचड़ और पत्थर भरे पगडंडी रास्तों से ग्रामीणों ने मिलकर बांस की बहंगी के सहारे महिला को सोकराहातु (चैनपुर प्रखंड) स्थित पक्की सड़क तक पहुँचाया। वहाँ से एक गाड़ी के माध्यम से उसे गुमला सदर अस्पताल ले जाया गया, जहां डॉक्टरों की निगरानी में इलाज जारी है।

ग्रामीणों ने बताया कि बरसात के मौसम में यह समस्या और भी विकराल हो जाती है। एम्बुलेंस क्या, बाइक तक नहीं चल पाती। गांव के आसपास नदी पर पुल नहीं, पक्की सड़क नहीं, जिससे कई गांव टापू में तब्दील हो जाते हैं। ऐसे में गर्भवती महिलाएं और गंभीर मरीजों की जान जोखिम में पड़ जाती है। अक्सर लोग इलाज के अभाव में मौत के मुंह में समा जाते हैं।

स्थानीय लोगों का कहना है कि टुडूरमा समेत कई गांवों में आजादी के 78 साल बाद भी सड़क, बिजली, स्वास्थ्य केंद्र, स्कूल जैसी सुविधाएं नहीं हैं। कई बार मांगों के बावजूद न तो सरकार, न ही जिला प्रशासन ने स्थायी समाधान की दिशा में ठोस पहल की है।

स्वास्थ्य विभाग की चुप्पी और सरकार की निष्क्रियता पर सवाल उठते हैं कि आखिर ऐसे दूरदराज़ गांवों में इंसानों की जान की कीमत कब समझी जाएगी? ग्रामीणों ने सरकार से स्थायी पक्की सड़क, स्वास्थ्य केंद्र और समय पर एम्बुलेंस सुविधा उपलब्ध कराने की मांग की है।

इस घटना ने एक बार फिर साबित कर दिया कि झारखंड के आदिवासी क्षेत्रों में अब भी बुनियादी सुविधाएं सिर्फ कागजों पर मौजूद हैं, और असल जिंदगी में लोग अपनी पीठ पर मरीज ढोने को मजबूर हैं।
