गुमला, 4 जुलाई 2025 — गुमला जिले में नशामुक्ति अभियान को एक बड़ी उपलब्धि मिली है। पुलिस अधीक्षक हारिश बिन जामां के नेतृत्व में गुप्त सूचना के आधार पर एक ट्रक से 1,020 पेटी अवैध केन बियर बरामद की गई है, जिसे राजस्थान के दो युवक बिहार ले जा रहे थे। दोनों आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार कर न्यायिक हिरासत में भेज दिया गया है।
गुप्त सूचना पर गिरी गाज, रूई के नीचे छुपा रखी थी बियर
पुलिस कप्तान हारिश बिन जामां ने प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में बताया कि उन्हें सूचना मिली थी कि एक ट्रक में भारी मात्रा में अवैध बियर गुमला बाईपास के रास्ते रांची होते हुए बिहार भेजी जा रही है। सूचना मिलते ही उन्होंने एसडीपीओ सुरेश प्रसाद यादव के नेतृत्व में एक विशेष छापामारी दल का गठन किया, जिसमें थाना प्रभारी महेंद्र कुमार करमाली, पुअनि विनय कुमार महतो, सअनि सुनील कुमार सहित पुलिस बल को शामिल किया गया।
रात करीब 10:25 बजे गुमला बाईपास के पुग्गु मोड़ पर वाहन चेकिंग के दौरान एक संदिग्ध ट्रक (रजिस्ट्रेशन नंबर UP 25 CT 2916) को रोकने की कोशिश की गई, लेकिन चालक ने ट्रक की रफ्तार तेज कर भागने की कोशिश की। पुलिस ने तत्परता दिखाते हुए पीछा कर ट्रक को रोका।
ट्रक से बरामद हुई पंजाब में बिक्री हेतु प्रतिबंधित बियर
पूछताछ में चालक ने अपना नाम अकबर खान (21 वर्ष) और सहयोगी का नाम शरीफ खान (22 वर्ष) बताया, दोनों राजस्थान के बाड़मेर जिले के निवासी हैं। प्रारंभिक पूछताछ में उन्होंने ट्रक में रूई लदे होने की बात कही, लेकिन कागजात दिखाने में असमर्थ रहे।
संदेह के आधार पर ट्रक की तलाशी ली गई तो उसमें TUBORG और KINGFISHER ब्रांड की कुल 1,020 पेटी केन बियर बरामद हुई। शराब की बोतलों पर “For Sale in Punjab Only” लिखा हुआ था, जिससे स्पष्ट हुआ कि यह बियर अवैध रूप से अंतरराज्यीय रूप से ट्रांसपोर्ट की जा रही थी।
क्या-क्या बरामद हुआ
- TUBORG 500 ml केन बियर: 730 पेटी (एक पेटी में 24 कैन)
- KINGFISHER 500 ml केन बियर: 290 पेटी (एक पेटी में 24 कैन)
- कुल बरामद बियर: 1,020 पेटी, यानि 24,480 यूनिट
अंधेरा होने और भारी मात्रा में सामान होने के कारण ट्रक और दोनों आरोपियों को गुमला सदर थाना लाया गया। यहां सभी कानूनी प्रक्रिया पूरी कर दोनों आरोपियों को न्यायालय में प्रस्तुत कर न्यायिक हिरासत में गुमला जेल भेजा गया।
एसपी का सख्त संदेश: नशा और अपराध के खिलाफ जीरो टॉलरेंस
एसपी हारिश बिन जामां ने कहा, “नशा और अपराध एक-दूसरे के पूरक हैं। जब तक नशा खत्म नहीं होगा, अपराध पर लगाम नहीं लगाई जा सकती। गुमला पुलिस नशे के खिलाफ पूरी ताकत से अभियान चला रही है और आगे भी ऐसे तत्वों को बख्शा नहीं जाएगा।”
