भारतीय स्वतंत्रता संग्राम के गुमनाम योद्धाओं पर रोशनी: प्रो. जावेद आलम का विभावि में ऐतिहासिक व्याख्यान

हज़ारीबाग, 5 जुलाई 2025 — विनोबा भावे विश्वविद्यालय के स्नातकोत्तर इतिहास विभाग में शनिवार को “भारतीय स्वतंत्रता संग्राम के कुछ अनछुए पहलू: वीरेंद्रनाथ चट्टोपाध्याय एवं एम.एन. रॉय के विचार” विषय पर एक विचारोत्तेजक संगोष्ठी का आयोजन किया गया। राधाकृष्णन सभागार में आयोजित इस सेमिनार की अध्यक्षता विभागाध्यक्ष डॉ हितेंद्र अनुपम ने की, जबकि मुख्य वक्ता के रूप में जामिया मिलिया इस्लामिया के वरिष्ठ इतिहासकार प्रो. जावेद आलम ने अपने गहन शोध और अनुभव से विषय को विस्तारपूर्वक प्रस्तुत किया।

प्रो. आलम ने स्वतंत्रता संग्राम के उन सिपाहियों पर प्रकाश डाला, जिनके योगदान को इतिहास में अपेक्षित मान्यता नहीं मिली। उन्होंने बताया कि वीरेंद्रनाथ चट्टोपाध्याय और एम.एन. रॉय जैसे क्रांतिकारियों ने विदेशों में रहकर अंग्रेजों के खिलाफ रणनीति बनाने, धन और हथियार जुटाने के लिए कई अंतरराष्ट्रीय आंदोलनों में भाग लिया। उनके अनुसार, “चट्टोपाध्याय और रॉय दोनों की रणनीतियां अलग थीं, लेकिन उनका लक्ष्य एक ही था — भारत की आज़ादी।”

व्याख्यान में उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि चट्टोपाध्याय के गांधी और नेहरू से निकट संबंध थे, जो उनकी राजनीतिक स्वीकार्यता को दर्शाता है। साथ ही, एन.बी.डी. आचार्य और स्वामी सहजानंद सरस्वती की पुस्तकों के हवाले से बिहार और झारखंड के क्रांतिकारी संगठनों जैसे अनुशीलन समिति और एच.एस.आर.ए. (हिंदुस्तान सोशलिस्ट रिपब्लिकन एसोसिएशन) के योगदान को रेखांकित किया।

प्रश्नोत्तर सत्र में छात्रों के साथ सीधा संवाद करते हुए प्रो. आलम ने चट्टोपाध्याय और एम.एन. रॉय के बीच वैचारिक मतभेदों के कारणों को स्पष्ट किया और उनके ऐतिहासिक परिप्रेक्ष्य की व्याख्या की।

कार्यक्रम में इतिहास विभाग के प्राध्यापकगण — डॉ अशोक कुमार मंडल, डॉ विकास कुमार, डॉ बंशीधर रूखेयार, डॉ मुकेश कुमार तथा भूगोल विभाग के डॉ सरोज सिंह भी मौजूद रहे।

सेमिनार में पीएचडी कोर्स वर्क 2024 के छात्र-छात्राएं शायमा रफीक, रवि नाग, मोनी कुमारी सहित स्नातकोत्तर द्वितीय एवं चतुर्थ सेमेस्टर के विद्यार्थी, शोधार्थी सन्नी मेहता, भागवत राम, सुमित कुमार, पुरुषोत्तम द्विवेदी, माधुरी, रीता कुमारी, नवनीत कुमार दांगी, शाहजहां प्रवीण, प्रियंका भगत व अन्य विद्यार्थियों की सक्रिय भागीदारी रही।

कार्यक्रम का मंच संचालन भैरव यादव ने किया, जबकि धन्यवाद ज्ञापन विभागाध्यक्ष डॉ हितेंद्र अनुपम द्वारा प्रस्तुत किया गया। यह व्याख्यान विद्यार्थियों को भारत के आज़ादी के संघर्ष की वैचारिक विविधता से अवगत कराने में सफल रहा।
