गुमला :- गुमला उपायुक्त एवं पुलिस अधीक्षक के निर्देशानुसार आज दिनांक 07 जुलाई 2025 को गुमला-घाघरा मुख्य पथ स्थित दुनदुरिया ग्राम क्षेत्र में मोटरसाइकिल वाहन चेकिंग अभियान एवं सड़क सुरक्षा जागरूकता कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया।
इस अभियान का नेतृत्व जिला परिवहन पदाधिकारी राकेश कुमार गोप एवं मोटरयान निरीक्षक प्रदीप कुमार तिर्की द्वारा किया गया। सड़क सुरक्षा टीम के सहयोग से कुल 40 मोटरसाइकिल चालकों को यातायात नियमों के अनुपालन एवं सुरक्षित वाहन संचालन से संबंधित आवश्यक जानकारी दी गई।
कार्यक्रम के तहत रोड सेफ्टी काउंसलिंग के माध्यम से हेलमेट एवं सीट बेल्ट के अनिवार्य उपयोग, वाहन के वैध कागजात रखने की अनिवार्यता, गति सीमा एवं ट्रैफिक सिग्नल के पालन जैसे विषयों पर विस्तार से समझाया गया। चालकों को बताया गया कि कैसे सड़क सुरक्षा नियमों का पालन कर स्वयं एवं अन्य यात्रियों के जीवन की रक्षा की जा सकती है।
वाहन चेकिंग अभियान शाम 4:00 बजे से 5:00 बजे तक चलाया गया, जिसमें कागजातों की अनुपलब्धता एवं अन्य नियमों के उल्लंघन पर कुल ₹78,000 की दंड राशि वसूल की गई।
इस अवसर पर सड़क सुरक्षा प्रबंधक कुमार प्रभाष, सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी सहायक मंटू रवानी, रोड इंजीनियरिंग एनालिस्ट प्रणय कांशी, एवं डीटीओ कार्यालय के प्रिंस कुमार भी उपस्थित थे।
जिला प्रशासन द्वारा ऐसे अभियान समय-समय पर आयोजित कर सड़क दुर्घटनाओं की रोकथाम एवं नागरिकों में यातायात नियमों के प्रति सजगता सुनिश्चित की जा रही है।
