गुमला :- जिला मुख्यालय स्थित संत इग्नेसियस उच्च विद्यालय, गुमला के जुबली स्टेडियम में दक्षिणी छोटानागपुर प्रमंडल स्तरीय सुब्रतो मुखर्जी फुटबॉल कप प्रतियोगिता का शुभारंभ पुलिस कप्तान गुमला हरीश बिन जामां के नेतृत्व में संपन्न हुआ। इस अवसर पर उप विकास आयुक्त दिलेश्वर महतो, अपर समाहर्ता, अनुमंडल पुलिस पदाधिकारी, जिला परिषद उपाध्यक्ष सहित अन्य पदाधिकारी एवं गणमान्य अतिथि उपस्थित रहे।
कार्यक्रम में झारखंड शिक्षा परियोजना परिषद की ओर से राज्य परियोजना निदेशक के प्रतिनिधि एवं राज्य कार्यक्रम पदाधिकारी धीरसेन सोरेंग ने भी विशेष रूप से भाग लिया। वे पूरे राज्य में सुब्रतो मुखर्जी फुटबॉल आयोजन के समन्वयक हैं। इस प्रतियोगिता के अंतर्गत बालक वर्ग में अंडर-15 एवं अंडर-17 तथा बालिका वर्ग में अंडर-17 श्रेणी हेतु रांची, खूंटी, लोहरदगा, सिमडेगा एवं गुमला जिलों की जिला स्तरीय विजेता टीमें भाग ले रही हैं। सभी मैच लीग पद्धति पर खेले जाएंगे।
बालक वर्ग के मैच जुबली स्टेडियम एवं हॉस्टल मैदान में एवं बालिका वर्ग के मैच संत पैट्रिक उच्च विद्यालय के खेल मैदान में आयोजित किए जाएंगे। प्रतियोगिता के लीग मैच 08 व 09 जुलाई को, सेमीफाइनल 10 जुलाई को तथा समापन समारोह सहित फाइनल मैच 11 जुलाई 2025 को जुबली स्टेडियम में आयोजित होंगे।
कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ पारंपरिक मांदर की थाप और स्वागत नृत्य के साथ हुआ। मुख्यमंत्री उत्कृष्ट विद्यालय एस एस गर्ल्स की छात्राओं ने अतिथियों का पारंपरिक स्वागत कर मुख्य मंच तक पहुंचाया। जिला शिक्षा पदाधिकारी एवं जिला शिक्षा अधीक्षक के नेतृत्व में अतिथियों को बैच लगाकर एवं पौधा भेंट कर सम्मानित किया गया।
इसके उपरांत सभी अतिथियों ने संयुक्त रूप से दीप प्रज्वलित कर कार्यक्रम का उद्घाटन किया। मैदान में उपस्थित पाँचों जिलों की टीमों ने कस्तूरबा विद्यालय के बैंड की धुन पर मार्चपास्ट कर सलामी दी। मुख्य अतिथियों द्वारा मैदान में उतरकर सभी टीमों से परिचय प्राप्त किया गया एवं फुटबॉल को किक मारकर टूर्नामेंट का विधिवत शुभारंभ किया गया।
इस आयोजन की सफलता हेतु जिले के सभी प्रखंडों के समग्र शिक्षा कार्यक्रम पदाधिकारियों के नेतृत्व में आयोजन समितियाँ गठित की गई हैं। साथ ही झारखंड शिक्षा परियोजना गुमला के पदाधिकारीगण, खेल शिक्षक, जिला फुटबॉल संघ, ओलंपिक संघ, रेफरी संघ एवं संबंधित तकनीकी अधिकारियों की सक्रिय भूमिका सुनिश्चित की गई है।
