गुमला पुलिस को नक्सल विरोधी अभियान में बड़ी कामयाबी, जेजेपीएमपी के एरिया कमांडर प्रवीण एक्का उर्फ अड़िया और सहयोगी छोटू नायक गिरफ्तार

गुमला — झारखंड में सक्रिय उग्रवादी संगठन जेजेपीएमपी (झारखंड जनमुक्ति परिषद) के एरिया कमांडर प्रवीण एक्का उर्फ अड़िया और उसके सहयोगी छोटू नायक को गुमला पुलिस ने रविवार को डुमरी थाना क्षेत्र के तांती जंगल से गिरफ्तार कर लिया। यह कार्रवाई पुलिस अधीक्षक हरीश बिन जामां के नेतृत्व में चलाए जा रहे नक्सल विरोधी अभियान के तहत की गई।

कैसे हुआ गिरफ्तारी का ऑपरेशन?
पुलिस कप्तान को गुप्त सूचना मिली थी कि जेजेपीएमपी का एरिया कमांडर प्रवीण एक्का अपने दस्ते के साथ तांती के जंगल में बड़ी वारदात को अंजाम देने की फिराक में है। इस पर त्वरित कार्रवाई करते हुए एसपी ने चैनपुर अनुमंडल पुलिस पदाधिकारी ललित मीणा के नेतृत्व में एक विशेष छापामारी दल का गठन किया।

पुलिस टीम ने जंगल में पहुंचकर घेराबंदी की। पुलिस की मौजूदगी देखकर उग्रवादी भागने लगे, लेकिन जवानों ने तत्परता दिखाते हुए दो संदिग्धों को दबोच लिया। पूछताछ में दोनों ने जेजेपीएमपी के सक्रिय सदस्य होने की बात स्वीकार की।

गिरफ्तार उग्रवादियों की पहचान

1. प्रवीण एक्का उर्फ अड़िया, उम्र 28 वर्ष, निवासी – सिरसी, थाना डुमरी, जिला गुमला (पद – एरिया कमांडर)
2. छोटू नायक, उम्र 27 वर्ष, निवासी – पुटरूंगी, थाना डुमरी, जिला गुमला

बरामद हथियार और सामग्री

• एक पिस्टल
• एक सिक्सर
• एक मैगजीन
• पाँच ज़िंदा गोली
• दो मोबाइल फ़ोन

गिरफ्तारी के दौरान जब पुलिस ने हथियार रखने के वैध दस्तावेज़ मांगे, तो दोनों अभियुक्त ऐसा कोई कागज़ प्रस्तुत नहीं कर सके। यह आर्म्स एक्ट के तहत एक संज्ञेय अपराध है, जिस पर तत्काल कार्रवाई करते हुए दोनों को गिरफ्तार कर न्यायिक हिरासत में भेज दिया गया।

अपराधिक इतिहास
गिरफ्तार एरिया कमांडर प्रवीण एक्का के खिलाफ पूर्व में भी विशुनपुर थाना में आर्म्स एक्ट और सीएलए एक्ट के तहत मामला दर्ज है (कांड संख्या: 23/25, तिथि: 24.06.2025)।

पुलिस का संदेश
एसपी हरीश बिन जामां ने प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में बताया कि नक्सल उन्मूलन के लिए जिले में लगातार अभियान तेज किया गया है। भविष्य में भी ऐसे उग्रवादी तत्वों के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई की जाएगी ताकि गुमला को नक्सलमुक्त बनाया जा सके।
