सड़क सुरक्षा के प्रति जागरूकता अभियान: गुमला के पालकोट थाना क्षेत्र में वाहन चेकिंग के दौरान 1.23 लाख रुपये जुर्माना वसूला गया

गुमला | जिले में सड़क सुरक्षा को लेकर प्रशासन सतर्क है। गुमला उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित एवं पुलिस अधीक्षक हरीश बिन जामां के निर्देश पर पालकोट थाना क्षेत्र में मोटरसाइकिल चालकों के बीच सड़क सुरक्षा जागरूकता अभियान चलाया गया। इस अभियान के तहत वाहन चेकिंग के दौरान यातायात नियमों के पालन की जानकारी दी गई और उल्लंघन करने वालों से जुर्माना वसूला गया।

कब और कैसे चला अभियान?
यह विशेष चेकिंग और काउंसलिंग अभियान शाम 4:20 बजे से 5:30 बजे तक चला। इस दौरान करीब 35 से 40 वाहन चालकों को यातायात नियमों के पालन, हेलमेट पहनने की अनिवार्यता, सीट बेल्ट के महत्व और अन्य सुरक्षात्मक उपायों के बारे में विस्तार से जानकारी दी गई।

क्या कहा अधिकारियों ने?
सड़क सुरक्षा टीम के सदस्यों ने मौके पर मौजूद चालकों को समझाया कि ट्रैफिक नियमों का पालन केवल कानून नहीं बल्कि जीवन रक्षा का उपाय है। हेलमेट और सीट बेल्ट जैसे उपाय न केवल चालकों को बल्कि सड़क पर चलने वाले अन्य लोगों को भी सुरक्षित रखते हैं।

कितना जुर्माना वसूला गया?
जांच के दौरान जिन लोगों के पास अपने वाहनों से संबंधित आवश्यक दस्तावेज नहीं थे, उनसे कुल ₹1,23,000 की दंड राशि वसूली गई। यह राशि मोटर वाहन अधिनियम के तहत नियमों के उल्लंघन पर लगाई गई थी।

कौन-कौन रहे शामिल?
इस अभियान का नेतृत्व जिला परिवहन पदाधिकारी राकेश कुमार गोप, मोटरयान निरीक्षक रॉबिन अजय सिंह, सड़क सुरक्षा प्रबंधक और डीटीओ कार्यालय के कर्मियों ने किया।

गुमला जिला प्रशासन और परिवहन विभाग द्वारा चलाया गया यह अभियान न केवल कानूनी कार्रवाई तक सीमित था, बल्कि इसका उद्देश्य आम नागरिकों को जिम्मेदार और सतर्क चालक बनने के लिए प्रेरित करना भी था।
अधिकारियों ने स्पष्ट किया कि ऐसे अभियान भविष्य में भी जारी रहेंगे ताकि जिले में सड़क दुर्घटनाओं को न्यूनतम किया जा सके।
