गुमला — बाल श्रम के उन्मूलन की दिशा में एक और सख्त कदम उठाते हुए गुमला जिला प्रशासन ने शुक्रवार को बसिया और कामडरा प्रखंडों में संयुक्त निरीक्षण अभियान चलाया। यह कार्रवाई उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित के निर्देशानुसार की गई, जिसमें श्रम अधीक्षक, जिला बाल संरक्षण पदाधिकारी, चाइल्ड हेल्पलाइन टीम और श्रम विभाग के प्रतिनिधि शामिल रहे।
अभियान के दौरान होटलों, ढाबों और दुकानों जैसे व्यावसायिक प्रतिष्ठानों में कार्यरत बच्चों की गहन जांच की गई। टीम ने दुकानदारों और होटल संचालकों को बाल श्रम (निषेध एवं विनियमन) अधिनियम की जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि 14 वर्ष से कम आयु के बच्चों से काम कराना कानूनन अपराध है, और दोषी पाए जाने पर कानूनी कार्रवाई सुनिश्चित की जाएगी।
1098 पर तुरंत दें सूचना
अभियान के दौरान चाइल्ड हेल्पलाइन नंबर 1098 के प्रचार-प्रसार पर भी विशेष ध्यान दिया गया। लोगों को जागरूक करते हुए बताया गया कि यदि किसी स्थान पर बाल श्रम, बाल तस्करी या बच्चों के शोषण की आशंका हो, तो वे इस हेल्पलाइन पर तुरंत सूचना दें।
जिला प्रशासन ने यह भी स्पष्ट किया कि बाल अधिकारों की रक्षा के लिए ऐसे अभियान नियमित अंतराल पर चलाए जाते रहेंगे और यदि कोई व्यक्ति बच्चों के शोषण में संलिप्त पाया गया, तो उसके विरुद्ध कड़ी कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
इस संयुक्त अभियान ने एक बार फिर यह संदेश दिया कि बचपन से बड़ा कोई श्रम नहीं, और समाज के हर नागरिक की जिम्मेदारी है कि वह बच्चों को स्कूल और सुरक्षित वातावरण की ओर अग्रसर करे।
