गुमला | डुमरी प्रखंड मुख्यालय स्थित सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र (CHC) में उप-विकास आयुक्त दिलेश्वर महतो ने बुधवार को नए कुपोषण उपचार केंद्र (MTC) का लोकार्पण किया। इस मौके पर द हंस फाउंडेशन के राज्य अधिकारी और स्वास्थ्य विभाग के वरिष्ठ अधिकारी मौजूद रहे।
उप-विकास आयुक्त महतो ने कहा, “दूरदराज क्षेत्रों में कुपोषित बच्चों के उपचार हेतु यह केंद्र किसी वरदान से कम नहीं। प्लेइंग एरिया बच्चों को शारीरिक व मानसिक रूप से विकसित करने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाएगा।”
द हंस फाउंडेशन के राज्य प्रमुख शिशुपाल मेहता और प्रोजेक्ट मैनेजर स्वामी विवेकानंद ने बताया कि इस केंद्र में 0–5 वर्ष के गंभीर कुपोषित बच्चों का अंतरराष्ट्रीय मानकों के अनुसार इलाज किया जाएगा। डिस्चार्ज के बाद सहिया, आंगनबाड़ी सेविका व एएनएम के माध्यम से समुदाय स्तर पर उनका फॉलो‑अप सुनिश्चित किया जाएगा।
इसके अलावा, माताओं को 300 ₹ प्रतिदिन भत्ता और आने–जाने का किराया प्रदान किया जाएगा। बच्चों को विशेष पोषक आहार भी उपलब्ध कराया जाएगा ताकि उनका स्वास्थ्य बेहतर हो सके।
इस कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित अधिकारियों में स्वास्थ्य विभाग के एसीएमओ धनुर्जय सुमराई, जिला समाज कल्याण पदाधिकारी, प्रखंड विकास पदाधिकारी उमेश कुमार स्वांसी, अंचल अधिकारी रामप्रवेश कुमार, प्रभारी चिकित्सा पदाधिकारी डॉ. अलबेल केरकेट्टा, आयुष चिकित्सक डॉ. राजेश शर्मा, बीपीएम राजेश केरकेट्टा, सीडीएस कृष्ण मोहन मिश्रा व प्रभाकर भारती सहित अन्य चिकित्सा कर्मचारी शामिल थे।
यह पहल एक महत्वपूर्ण सामाजिक उपलब्धि के रूप में देखी जा रही है, जिससे गुमला जिले में कुपोषण से लड़ाई में मजबूती आएगी।
