मुख्य सड़क पर सूखे पेड़ों की कटिंग से टली बड़ी दुर्घटना, मानसून में नगर परिषद की सतर्कता ने बढ़ाई सुरक्षा

गुमला, 23 जुलाई — मानसून के दौरान तेज़ हवाओं और बारिश से संभावित खतरे को भांपते हुए नगर परिषद गुमला ने मुख्य सड़क पर स्थित सूखे व जर्जर पेड़ों की कटिंग कर हटाने का कार्य सतर्कता के साथ संपन्न किया। यह कदम उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित के निर्देश पर उठाया गया, जिससे आम नागरिकों की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित की जा सके।

नगर परिषद के अधिकारियों ने पूर्व में किए गए निरीक्षण में चिन्हित किया था कि मुख्य मार्ग के किनारे खड़े कई पेड़ पूरी तरह सूख चुके हैं और किसी भी समय तेज़ हवा या बारिश की स्थिति में गिर सकते हैं। इससे न केवल वाहनों और पैदल यात्रियों को खतरा था, बल्कि जन-धन की क्षति की आशंका भी बनी हुई थी।

सुरक्षा प्राथमिकता में, तेजी से कार्रवाई
इस स्थिति को गंभीरता से लेते हुए नगर परिषद ने तत्काल कार्रवाई करते हुए नियमानुसार इन पेड़ों की कटिंग कर हटाया। यह कार्य बिना यातायात बाधित किए नियोजित ढंग से संपन्न किया गया, जिससे आवाजाही पर कोई असर नहीं पड़ा।

नगर परिषद ने की नागरिकों से सहयोग की अपील
नगर परिषद ने इस अवसर पर नागरिकों से अपील की कि यदि किसी क्षेत्र में पेड़, ढांचागत कमजोरियां या अन्य कोई सार्वजनिक सुरक्षा से जुड़ा खतरा नजर आए तो उसकी जानकारी तत्काल संबंधित अधिकारियों को दें। इससे समय पर कार्रवाई कर दुर्घटनाओं को रोका जा सकता है।

प्रशासन की सतर्क पहल बनी राहत का कारण
गौरतलब है कि गुमला जिले में लगातार हो रही बारिश के बीच यह पहल नागरिक सुरक्षा के प्रति जिला प्रशासन की प्रतिबद्धता को दर्शाती है। उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित की निगरानी में नगर परिषद द्वारा समय रहते उठाया गया यह कदम आने वाले दिनों में संभावित हादसों से सुरक्षा प्रदान करेगा।
