गुमला में अवैध गांजा कारोबार का भंडाफोड़, 4.50 ग्राम नशीले पदार्थ के साथ एक व्यक्ति गिरफ्तार

गुमला, 25 जुलाई: गुमला जिले के भरनो थाना क्षेत्र अंतर्गत कुसुम्बाहा खरवागढ़ा नहर पुल के समीप अवैध रूप से गांजा बेच रहे एक व्यक्ति को पुलिस ने रंगे हाथों पकड़ लिया। उसके पास से 4.50 ग्राम गांजा, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक तराजू, 20 प्लास्टिक पैकेट, और ₹1,040 नकद बरामद किए गए। आरोपी को न्यायालय में प्रस्तुत कर गुमला जेल भेज दिया गया।

इस कार्रवाई की जानकारी सदर एसडीपीओ सुरेश प्रसाद यादव ने प्रेस कांफ्रेंस में दी। उन्होंने बताया कि क्षेत्र में अवैध नशीले पदार्थों की बिक्री की लगातार सूचना मिल रही थी, जिसे गंभीरता से लेते हुए पुलिस अधीक्षक हरीश बिन ज़मान के निर्देशानुसार एक विशेष छापामारी दल का गठन किया गया था।

इस दल का नेतृत्व एसडीपीओ सुरेश प्रसाद यादव ने किया, जिसमें सिसई अंचल निरीक्षक सुरेंद्र कुमार सिंह, भरनो थाना प्रभारी कंचन प्रजापति, पुअनि अभिनंदन कुमार, मंटू चौधरी, तथा भरनो थाना के सशस्त्र बल के जवान शामिल थे।

गुप्त सूचना के आधार पर टीम ने नहर पुल के पास छापा मारा और संदिग्ध व्यक्ति को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। पूछताछ के बाद भरनो थाना कांड संख्या 48/2025 दिनांक 24 जुलाई 2025 को एनडीपीएस एक्ट की धारा 20 बी (ii)/22 के तहत मामला दर्ज किया गया।

एसडीपीओ यादव ने कहा कि जिले में नशा और इससे जुड़े अपराधों के खिलाफ पुलिस की सख्त कार्रवाई जारी रहेगी। उन्होंने आम नागरिकों से अपील की कि यदि किसी को अवैध गतिविधियों की जानकारी हो, तो तुरंत पुलिस को सूचित करें, ताकि समाज को नशे के जाल से मुक्त किया जा सके।
