देवघर : ज़िले में मंगलवार की सुबह कावंड़ियों से भरी एक बस गैस सिलेंडर ले जा रहे एक ट्रक से टकरा गई, जिसमें अबतक छह कावड़ियों की मौत हो जाने की पुुष्टि की गई, जबकि 24 के गंभीर रूप से घायल होने की खबर मिली है.

देवघर के उपायुक्त नमन प्रियेश लकड़ा ने बताया कि इस दुर्घटना में अब तक छह श्रद्धालुओं की मौत की पुष्टि हुई है. यह हादसा मोहनपुर थाना क्षेत्र के अंतर्गत आने वाले जमुनिया वन क्षेत्र के पास हुआ. हादसे का शिकार हुई 32 सीटर बस कांवड़ियों को लेकर जा रही थी. 

डीसी ने 08 श्रद्धालुओं का एम्स में और शेष का इलाज सदर अस्पताल में चलने की बात कही

एक्स पर एक पोस्ट में डीसी ने लिखा, ‘मंगलवार सुबह लगभग 05:30 बजे मोहनपुर प्रखंड के जमुनिया चौक के पास बस दुर्घटना में घायल श्रद्धालुओं का इलाज किया जा रहा है. दुर्घटना में 06 श्रद्धालुओं की मृत्यु हुई है और 24 श्रद्धालु घायल हैं, जिनमें 08 श्रद्धालुओं का इलाज एम्स में और शेष का इलाज सदर अस्पताल में चल रहा है.’

गोड्डा सांसद ने 18 श्रद्धालुओं के मरने का दावा किया

हालांकि देवघर से सांसद निशिकांत दुबे ने दावा किया कि इस हादसे में लगभग 18 श्रद्धालुओं की जान गई है. उन्होंने एक्स पर लिखा, ‘मेरे लोकसभा क्षेत्र देवघर में श्रावण मास में कांवर यात्रा के दौरान बस और ट्रक के दुर्घटनाग्रस्त होने के कारण 18 श्रद्धालुओं की मौत हो गई है. बाबा बैद्यनाथ जी उनके परिजनों को दुख सहने की शक्ति प्रदान करें.’

एसडीओ रवि कुमार ने बताया कि बस के ड्राइवर ने नियंत्रण खो दिया, जिससे वह सामने से आ रहे ट्रक से जा टकराई. उन्होंने बताया कि टक्कर के बाद बस लगभग 100 से 200 फीट और आगे बढ़ी और फिर ईंटों के ढेर से जा टकराई. एसडीओ रवि कुमार के मुताबिक, हादसे के समय कावंड़िये बासुकीनाथ मंदिर जा रहे थे. 

पीएम ने शोक जताया

प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने इस हादसे पर शोक व्यक्त करते हुए एक्स पर एक पोस्ट में लिखा, ‘झारखंड के देवघर में हुआ सड़क हादसा अत्यंत पीड़ादायक है. इसमें जान गंवाने वाले श्रद्धालुओं के परिजनों के प्रति मैं गहरी संवेदना व्यक्त करता हूं. ईश्वर उन्हें इस दुख को सहने की शक्ति दें. साथ ही सभी घायलों के शीघ्र स्वस्थ होने की प्रार्थना करता हूं.’

मृतकों की शिनाख्त की प्रक्रिया जारी

देवघर पुलिस ने बताया है कि मृतकों की शिनाख्त की प्रक्रिया जारी है। घायलों में कुछ की स्थिति नाजुक बनी हुई है। प्रारंभिक जांच में पता चला है कि बस में क्षमता से अधिक सवारी थी और ड्राइवर ने नियंत्रण खो दिया, जिससे यह हादसा हुआ। हादसे में बस चालक की भी मौत हुई है। उसकी पहचान मोहनपुर निवासी सुभाष तुरी के रूप में हुई है।

दोनों गाड़ियों में टक्कर इतनी जबरदस्त थी कि चीख पुकार मच गई। स्थानीय लोगों ने घायलों को गाड़ी से बाहर निकालने में मदद की. हादसा इतना जबरदस्त था कि बस का एक हिस्सा पूरी तरह क्षतिग्रस्त हो गया।
