ज्योतिन दा को गिरिडीह का गांधी माना जाता था
गिरिडीह, कमलनयन : विधानसभा क्षेत्र में जरूरतमंदों के नेता रहे पूर्व विधायक ज्योतिन्द्र प्रसाद (ज्योतिन दां) का 85 वर्ष की उम्र में अपने गिरिडीह आवास में गुरुवार को निधन हो गया। हाल के दिनों में वे अस्वस्थ चल रहे थे। वे अपने पीछे भरा-पूरा परिवार छोड़ गये हैं।
उनके निधन पर मुख्यमंत्री हेमंत सोरेन, मंत्री सुदिव्य कुमार, राज्य विस में नेता प्रतिपक्ष बाबूलाल मरांडी, राज्यसभा सांसद डा. सरफराज अहमद, गिरिडीह नगर पर्षद के पूर्व चेयरमेन वरीय भाजपा नेता दिनेश यादव, झामुमो जिला प्रमुख संजय सिंह समेत विभिन्न सामाजिक संगठनों, राजनीतिक दलों और मजदूर संगठनों के प्रतिनिधियों ने शोक व्यक्त कर दिवंगत को भावपूर्ण श्रद्धाजंलि दी।
सीएम हेमंत सोरेन ने एक्स पर अपनी शोक संवेदना व्यक्त की है। झामुमो गिरिडीह जिला कमेटी की ओर से उनके पार्थिव शरीर पर पार्टी का झंडा ओढ़ाया गया। उल्लेखनीय है कि जिले के जमुआ प्रखण्ड के पोवी गांव में पिता स्व. केदारनाथ दत्त के घर जन्मे ज्योतिन बाबू छह भाई-बहनों में छोटे थे। उन्हें राजनीतिक माहौल खुद के घर में मिला। एकीकृत बिहार में चाचा स्व. सदानंद प्रसाद केवी सहाय मंत्रिमंडल में मंत्री रहे।
ज्योतिन दा का संक्षिप्त राजनीतिक सफर
कालेज शिक्षा पूरी करने के पश्चात 1971 में गिरिडीह के सांसद स्व. चपलेन्दु भट्टाचार्य और चाचा सदानंद प्रसाद के सानिध्य में कांग्रेस के बैनर तले उन्होंने सक्रिय राजनीति में प्रवेश किया। अपने जुझारू तेवर की बदौलत पार्टी संगठन में जगह बनायी. कई सालों तक अभ्रख-मजदूर कर्मचारी संगठन के अध्यक्ष रहे।
1985 में कांग्रेस से टिकट नहीं मिलने पर गिरिडीह विस से निर्दलीय चुनाव लड़ा और हारकर भी अपने जनाधार का एहसास कराया। 1990 में कांग्रेस ने टिकट दिया और वामदलों के गढ़ को ध्वस्त कर चुनाव जीते।
1995 के चुनाव में उन्हें पराजय का सामना करना पड़ा। इसके बावजूद जरूरतमंदों के लिए अंतिम समय तक वे लड़ते रहे। ज्योतिन दां ने अपना पूरा जीवन तामझाम से दूर सादगी से जिया। ईमानदार राजनेता की छवि के कारण लोग उन्हें गिरिडीह का गांधी मानते थे।
