दिशोम गुरु शिबू सोरेन को बंगाली एसोसिएशन की श्रद्धांजलि, हजारीबाग में पहली प्रतिमा लगाने की मांग

हजारीबाग – अलग झारखंड राज्य आंदोलन के प्रणेता और सर्वमान्य जननेता दिशोम गुरु शिबू सोरेन के योगदान को याद करते हुए बंगाली एसोसिएशन हजारीबाग ने रविवार को उन्हें भावपूर्ण श्रद्धांजलि दी। संगठन ने मांग की कि गुरुजी का जन्म ग्राम नेमरा (जो लंबे समय तक हजारीबाग जिले में रहा और कुछ वर्ष पहले रामगढ़ में शामिल हुआ) में हुआ था, इसलिए उनकी पहली प्रतिमा हजारीबाग जिला मुख्यालय में स्थापित की जाए।

यह निर्णय यूनियन क्लब के केशव हॉल में 10 अगस्त को आयोजित वार्षिक आमसभा के दूसरे सत्र में सर्वसम्मति से लिया गया। सभा में वक्ताओं ने कहा कि दिशोम गुरु शोषण और अन्याय के खिलाफ संघर्ष के प्रतीक पुरुष थे और उनके विचार हमेशा लोगों को प्रेरित करते रहेंगे।

भीषण बारिश के बावजूद हजारीबाग के लगभग 25 बंगाली संगठनों और संस्थानों के प्रतिनिधियों ने बड़ी संख्या में भाग लिया। बैठक की अध्यक्षता नीलांजन चटर्जी ने की, जबकि संचालन आशीष चौधरी ने किया। अध्यक्ष डॉ. सुकल्याण मोइत्रा ने स्वागत भाषण और सचिव सोमनाथ कुनार ने धन्यवाद ज्ञापन प्रस्तुत किया।

नए पदाधिकारियों का चुनाव

बैठक के पहले सत्र में अगले दो वर्षों के लिए बंगाली एसोसिएशन के नए पदाधिकारियों का सर्वसम्मति से चुनाव हुआ। संरक्षक मंडल में डॉ. सजल मुखर्जी, नीलांजन चटर्जी, दीपक कुंडू, ध्रुव चक्रवर्ती, स्मिता मुखर्जी और समीर मुखर्जी को शामिल किया गया।

डॉ. सुकल्याण मोइत्रा को अध्यक्ष और सोमनाथ कुनार को सचिव चुना गया। उपाध्यक्ष पद पर बिकास चौधरी, सुतनु राय, रूपा चटर्जी, मंदिरा गुप्ता और चिन्मय सरकार का चयन हुआ। कोषाध्यक्ष के रूप में उज्ज्वल आयकत, संयुक्त सचिव पद पर दोला गुहा और तपन सरकार, सहसचिव पद पर सुदीप्ता चटर्जी और कौशिक भट्टाचार्य चुने गए।

मनोज सेन को ऑडिटर नियुक्त किया गया। तय हुआ कि नव-निर्वाचित पदाधिकारी अपनी पहली बैठक में कार्य समिति के शेष सदस्यों का चयन करेंगे।
