गुमला, 21 अगस्त 2025 — सड़क सुरक्षा और यातायात व्यवस्था को सुदृढ़ करने के उद्देश्य से जिला परिवहन विभाग ने शनिवार को जारी थाना क्षेत्र के गोविंदपुर में व्यापक वाहन जाँच अभियान चलाया। इस कार्रवाई का नेतृत्व जिला परिवहन पदाधिकारी (डीटीओ) ज्ञान शंकर जायसवाल ने किया।
मालवाहक वाहनों पर रही विशेष नजर
अभियान के दौरान मुख्य रूप से मालवाहक वाहन और पिकअप वैन की जांच की गई। डीटीओ टीम ने वाहनों के बीमा, ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस, परमिट, प्रदूषण प्रमाण पत्र (PUC) और कर संबंधी दस्तावेजों की बारीकी से जांच की।
कागजात नहीं मिलने पर हुई कार्रवाई
कई वाहन मालिकों और चालकों के पास आवश्यक दस्तावेज उपलब्ध नहीं थे। नियमों के उल्लंघन पर विभाग ने ₹64,000 (चौंसठ हजार रुपये) का जुर्माना वसूला। अधिकारियों ने साफ किया कि बिना वैध दस्तावेज के वाहन चलाना कानूनन अपराध है और इस पर सख्त कार्रवाई जारी रहेगी।

जागरूकता और सख्ती, दोनों पर जोर
डीटीओ ज्ञान शंकर जायसवाल ने कहा कि इस तरह के अभियान का मकसद सिर्फ जुर्माना वसूलना नहीं है, बल्कि वाहन चालकों को नियमों के प्रति जागरूक करना भी है। उन्होंने वाहन मालिकों से अपील की कि वे हमेशा अपने वाहन के सभी आवश्यक कागजात साथ रखें, ताकि अनावश्यक परेशानी से बचा जा सके।
अधिकारियों की मौजूदगी
इस वाहन जाँच अभियान में प्रधान लिपिक टी.एन. निराला सहित परिवहन विभाग के अन्य अधिकारी भी उपस्थित रहे।
