भागलपुर-गोड्डा : बिहार की बिजली ज़रूरतों को नई रफ्तार देने के लिए अदाणी पावर लिमिटेड को बड़ा ठेका मिला है। कंपनी भागलपुर के पीरपैंती में 2400 मेगावॉट क्षमता वाला ग्रीनफील्ड थर्मल पावर प्लांट लगाएगी। 25 साल तक यह प्लांट राज्य को लगातार बिजली देगा। ठेका बिहार स्टेट पावर जनरेशन कंपनी ने उत्तर व दक्षिण बिहार डिस्ट्रीब्यूशन कंपनियों की ओर से दिया है। अब जल्द ही पावर सप्लाई एग्रीमेंट होगा।
सस्ती बिजली, बड़ा निवेश
टैरिफ आधारित बोली में आदाणी पावर ने ₹6.075 प्रति यूनिट की सबसे कम दर पेश की। इसके साथ ही कंपनी करीब ₹27,000 करोड़ का निवेश करेगी। निर्माण चरण में 10-12 हज़ार रोजगार और संचालन के बाद 3 हज़ार स्थायी नौकरियां मिलेंगी। अदाणी पावर के सीईओ एस.बी. ख्यालिया ने कहा, “पिरपैंती प्रोजेक्ट बिहार को सस्ती और निर्बाध बिजली देगा। यह राज्य की अर्थव्यवस्था को मज़बूती और औद्योगिकीकरण को नई रफ्तार देगा।”
भारत की पीक डिमांड मौजूदा ~250 गीगावॉट से बढ़कर 2032 तक ~400 गीगावॉट और 2047 तक 700+ गीगावॉट पहुंचने का अनुमान है। इसी मांग को पूरा करने के लिए सरकार ने 2035 तक ~100 गीगावॉट नई थर्मल क्षमता जोड़ने का लक्ष्य तय किया है।
