झारखंड शिक्षा परियोजना परिषद और भारतीय विज्ञान एवं शिक्षा अनुसंधान संस्थान (IISER) पुणे के संयुक्त प्रयास से STEM शिक्षा (विज्ञान, प्रौद्योगिकी, इंजीनियरिंग और गणित) को बढ़ावा देने के उद्देश्य से आयोजित iRISE कार्यक्रम के तीसरे चरण का प्रशिक्षण मंगलवार को सफलतापूर्वक संपन्न हुआ।
यह तीन दिवसीय प्रशिक्षण 8 से 10 सितम्बर तक आयोजित किया गया, जिसमें रांची, रामगढ़, पश्चिम सिंहभूम और पलामू जिलों के विज्ञान और गणित शिक्षकों ने भाग लिया। प्रशिक्षण का संचालन जिलों के इनोवेशन चैंपियंस द्वारा किया गया।
नवाचार और आलोचनात्मक सोच पर जोर
iRISE कार्यक्रम का मुख्य उद्देश्य शिक्षकों और विद्यार्थियों में नवाचार, रचनात्मकता और आलोचनात्मक सोच को बढ़ावा देना है। इसके तहत शिक्षकों को एक्टिविटी-आधारित लर्निंग, प्रयोगात्मक विधियों और अंतर्विषयक दृष्टिकोण से विज्ञान एवं गणित पढ़ाने का प्रशिक्षण दिया गया।
कार्यशाला के दौरान यह बताया गया कि रटने की बजाय समझने की प्रवृत्ति को प्रोत्साहित करना आवश्यक है। बच्चों को उनके आसपास के परिवेश और दैनिक जीवन की घटनाओं से जोड़कर शिक्षा देने पर विशेष बल दिया गया।
विशेषज्ञों का मार्गदर्शन
प्रशिक्षण सत्र में राज्य शिक्षा परियोजना निदेशक सह जेएसईआरटी निदेशक शशि रंजन और गुणवत्ता शिक्षा के राज्य पदाधिकारी डॉ. अविनव कुमार ने शिक्षकों का मार्गदर्शन किया।
इसके अलावा, रांची के एडीपीओ पंकज कुमार, रामगढ़ के नलिनी रंजन, पलामू के अम्बुजा पांडेय और पश्चिम सिंहभूम के शिव मलिक ने भी कार्यक्रम में सक्रिय भूमिका निभाई। उनका मानना है कि इस पद्धति से पढ़ाने पर विद्यार्थी विद्यालय आने के लिए और अधिक उत्साहित होंगे।
राष्ट्रीय और अंतरराष्ट्रीय सहयोग
यह कार्यक्रम विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग, भारत सरकार, रॉयल सोसाइटी ऑफ केमिस्ट्री, ब्रिटिश काउंसिल, टाटा ट्रस्ट और टाटा टेक्नोलॉजीज के सहयोग से संचालित हो रहा है। iRISE के अंतर्गत टीचर डेवलपमेंट स्ट्रैंड (TDS) पर विशेष ध्यान दिया जा रहा है।
IISER पुणे से राज्य समन्वयक शिवानी पुलसे, मोहम्मद त़की, अक्षय कुलकर्णी, भारत थोंबरे और पंकज यादव भी इस अवसर पर मौजूद रहे।
STEM लैब्स और इंस्पायर अवार्ड्स पर भी फोकस
प्रशिक्षण के दौरान शिक्षकों को राज्य में स्थापित इंटीग्रेटेड लैब्स, विज्ञान प्रयोगशालाओं और STEM लैब्स में उपलब्ध मॉडल्स और गतिविधियों से परिचित कराया गया।
साथ ही, विद्यार्थियों को इंस्पायर अवार्ड्स-मानक योजना में अधिक से अधिक पंजीकृत कराने पर भी जोर दिया गया। यह योजना भारत सरकार द्वारा बच्चों में नवाचार की भावना को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए चलाई जा रही है।
झारखंड बना मॉडल राज्य
महाराष्ट्र, बिहार, उत्तराखंड, सिक्किम और लद्दाख में iRISE कार्यक्रम की सफलता के बाद अब झारखंड में इसे तेजी से लागू किया जा रहा है। अधिकारियों का कहना है कि राज्य को STEM शिक्षा का मॉडल राज्य बनाने की दिशा में यह प्रशिक्षण एक अहम कदम है।
