गुमला। सड़क हादसों पर अंकुश लगाने और लोगों में यातायात नियमों के प्रति जागरूकता बढ़ाने के उद्देश्य से गुमला जिला प्रशासन ने 13 सितंबर को विशेष जांच अभियान चलाया। उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित और पुलिस अधीक्षक के निर्देश पर यह कार्रवाई डी.ए.बी मोड़ के पास जिला परिवहन पदाधिकारी (डीटीओ) ज्ञान शंकर जायसवाल, मेजर सर्जेंट गुमला और थाना प्रभारी गुमला की संयुक्त टीम के नेतृत्व में की गई।
नियम तोड़ने वालों पर शिकंजा
जांच के दौरान 110 से अधिक वाहन चालकों को नियमों का उल्लंघन करते पकड़ा गया। इनमें से अधिकतर मामलों में बिना हेलमेट यात्रा, ट्रिपल राइडिंग, तेज रफ्तार, ओवरलोडिंग, और आवश्यक कागजात जैसे लाइसेंस, बीमा, परमिट, पीयूसी प्रमाणपत्र तथा रोड टैक्स की अनुपलब्धता शामिल रही। इसके अतिरिक्त प्रेशर हॉर्न और मल्टी-टोन हॉर्न का उपयोग करने वाले वाहनों पर भी कार्रवाई की गई।
जुर्माना और चेतावनी
इस अभियान में विभिन्न उल्लंघनों के लिए ₹1,34,000 (एक लाख चौतीस हजार रुपये) का जुर्माना वसूला गया। मौके पर ही चालकों को सड़क सुरक्षा से जुड़ी बुनियादी बातें समझाई गईं। डीटीओ ज्ञान शंकर जायसवाल ने चेतावनी दी कि “लापरवाह ड्राइविंग न केवल चालक बल्कि दूसरों की जान के लिए भी खतरा है। भविष्य में नियम तोड़ने वालों पर और सख्त कार्रवाई होगी।”
प्रशासन का संदेश
जिला प्रशासन का कहना है कि ऐसे अभियान आगे भी नियमित रूप से चलाए जाएंगे। अधिकारियों का विश्वास है कि सख्ती और जागरूकता दोनों मिलकर गुमला में सुरक्षित एवं अनुशासित यातायात व्यवस्था स्थापित करने में मदद करेंगे।
