गुमला ः गुमला जिला मुख्यालय स्थित कस्तुरबा गांधी आवासीय विद्यालय में राष्ट्रीय कृमि दिवस के अवसर पर एक विशेष कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया।उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित के निर्देश पर, इस कार्यक्रम का विधिवत उद्घाटन उप विकास आयुक्त दिलेश्वर महतो और सिविल सर्जन डॉ. शंभूनाथ चौधरी द्वारा संयुक्त रूप से किया गया।
कार्यक्रम के दौरान विद्यालय की छात्राओं को कृमि की दवा एल्बेंडाजोल की खुराक खिलाई गई। उप विकास आयुक्त दिलेश्वर महतो ने कहा कि इस दवा के सेवन से बच्चों के स्वास्थ्य पर अच्छा प्रभाव पड़ेगा और उन्हें पढ़ाई में मदद मिलेगी। उन्होंने स्वास्थ्य विभाग के सभी कर्मियों को निर्देश दिया कि सभी लक्ष्य समूह को कृमि दवा शत-प्रतिशत खिलाई जाए।
सिविल सर्जन डॉ. शंभूनाथ चौधरी ने बताया कि आज आंगनबाड़ी सेविका और सहिया द्वारा दो लाख बाइस हजार पांच सौ बावन बच्चों को कृमि की दवा खिलाई जाएगी। जो बच्चे आज दवा से वंचित रह जाएंगे, उन्हें 19 दिसंबर को दवा खिलाई जाएगी।
महिला स्वास्थ्य जांच अभियान का भी आयोजन
सिविल सर्जन डॉ. शंभूनाथ चौधरी ने बताया कि 17 सितंबर से 2 अक्टूबर तक स्वास्थ्य नारी सशक्त परिवार अभियान का आयोजन किया जाएगा। यह आयोजन सभी ग्यारह सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्रों और 242 आयुष आरोग्य मंदिरों में किया जाएगा। इस दौरान सभी उम्र की महिलाओं का स्वास्थ्य जांच और उपचार किया जाएगा।
जिला वासियों से अनुरोध है कि अधिक से अधिक संख्या में भाग लेकर अपने स्वास्थ्य जांच कराएं और इस अभियान का लाभ उठाएं।
