भारत में एनएसई के पंजीकृत निवेशकों की संख्या 12 करोड़ (120 मिलियन) यूनिक इन्वेस्टर्स (यूनिक पैन) के पार

रांची, सितम्बर 2025: 23 सितंबर, 2025 को, नेशनल स्टॉक एक्सचेंज (एनएसई) पर यूनिक रजिस्टर्ड निवेशकों की संख्या 12 करोड़ (120 मिलियन) के आँकड़े को पार कर गई। 23 सितंबर, 2025 तक एनएसई पर कुल निवेशक खाते (यूनिक क्लाइंट कोड्स) 23.5 करोड़ हो गए हैं, जो जुलाई 2025 में 23 करोड़ के आँकड़े को पार कर चुके थे। (इसमें अब तक के सभी रजिस्ट्रेशन्स शामिल हैं; क्लाइंट्स एक से अधिक ट्रेडिंग मेंबर के साथ रजिस्टर कर सकते हैं)।
निवेशक आधार का विस्तार, समय के साथ काफी तेज़ हुआ है। एनएसई के संचालन शुरू होने के 14 साल बाद रजिस्टर्ड निवेशक आधार 1 करोड़ तक पहुँचा, अगले 1 करोड़ जोड़ने में लगभग सात साल लगे, उसके बाद 1 करोड़ जोड़ने में लगभग ढाई साल और उसके बाद 1 करोड़ जोड़ने में एक साल से थोड़ा अधिक समय लगा। यानि, मार्च 2021 में रजिस्टर्ड निवेशक आधार 4 करोड़ तक पहुँचने में 25 साल से ज्यादा लगे, जबकि उसके बाद अगले 1 करोड़ निवेशक सिर्फ 6-7 महीनों में जुड़ गए।
भारत में निवेशकों की भागीदारी में तेज़ी से बढ़ते डिजिटाइजेशन, फिनटेक तक आसान पहुँच, मध्यवर्गीय आबादी और माननीय प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में नीतिगत कदमों का योगदान है।
इस वित्त वर्ष में अब तक (23 सितंबर, 2025 तक), बेंचमार्क निफ्टी 50 इंडेक्स ने 7.0% रिटर्न दिया है, जबकि निफ्टी 500 इंडेक्स ने इस दौरान मजबूत 9.3% की बढ़त दर्ज की है। 23 सितंबर, 2025 तक पाँच वर्षों की अवधि में एनुअलाइज्ड रिटर्न निफ्टी 50 के लिए 17.7% और निफ्टी 500 के लिए 20.5% रही, जो बड़े पैमाने पर उभरते और विकसित बाजारों से बेहतर है। इस पाँच साल की अवधि में एनएसई सूचीबद्ध कंपनियों का मार्केट कैपिटलाइजेशन वार्षिक आधार पर 25.1% की दर से बढ़कर 460 लाख करोड़ रुपए तक पहुँच गया, जिससे घरेलू संपत्ति में महत्वपूर्ण इज़ाफा हुआ। उल्लेखनीय है कि व्यक्तिगत निवेशक, सीधे और म्यूचुअल फंड्स के माध्यम से, 30 जून, 2025 तक एनएसई सूचीबद्ध कंपनियों के कुल बाजार का 18.5% हिस्सा रखते हैं। आज हर चार निवेशकों में एक महिला है। इसके अलावा, हाल के वर्षों में देश के युवाओं में वित्तीय बाजारों और स्टॉक-स्वामित्व में बढ़ती रुचि देखी गई है, जो इस बात का सबूत है कि इन निवेशकों ने पूँजी बाजार के इकोसिस्टम पर भरोसा जताया है। भारत में आज 12 करोड़ पंजीकृत निवेशक हैं। उनकी औसत उम्र लगभग 33 साल है, जो पाँच साल पहले 38 साल थी। इनमें से करीब 40% निवेशक 30 साल से कम उम्र के हैं।

देश भर में निवेशकों की भागीदारी भी बढ़ी है। आज निवेशक आधार भारत के 99.85% पिन कोड क्षेत्रों में फैला है। 31 अगस्त, 2025 तक तीन राज्यों में पंजीकृत निवेशकों की संख्या एक करोड़ से अधिक थी , जिसमें महाराष्ट्र 1.9 करोड़ (19 मिलियन) निवेशकों के साथ सबसे आगे है, इसके बाद उत्तर प्रदेश 1.4 करोड़ (14 मिलियन) और गुजरात इस सेट में नवीनतम प्रवेशकर्ता है, जिसमें 1.03 करोड़ (10.3 मिलियन) निवेशक हैं।

आधिकारिक आँकड़ों के अनुसार, अप्रत्यक्ष भागीदारी इस वित्त वर्ष में भी लगातार बढ़ी है। अप्रैल 2025 से अगस्त 2025 के बीच लगभग 2.9 करोड़ नए एसआईपी अकाउंट्स खोले गए। इसी अवधि में मासिक औसत एसआईपी निवेश 27,464 करोड़ रुपए (लगभग 3.2 अरब अमेरिकी डॉलर) रहा, जबकि पिछले वर्ष के समान महीनों में यह 21,883 करोड़ रुपए (लगभग 2.5 अरब अमेरिकी डॉलर) था।
भारत में नए निवेशकों का उत्साही आगमन वित्तीय जागरूकता बढ़ाने को प्राथमिकता बनाता है। इनमें से कई युवा हैं और पहली बार निवेश में हिस्सा ले रहे हैं। पिछले पाँच वर्षों में, एनएसई ने इस क्षेत्र में अपनी गतिविधियों का काफी विस्तार किया है। निवेशक जागरूकता कार्यक्रम (आईएपी) वित्त वर्ष 20 में 3,504 से बढ़कर वित्त वर्ष 25 में 14,679 हो गए हैं और पूरे देश के 8 लाख से अधिक प्रतिभागियों तक पहुँच बनाने में कारगर सिद्ध हुए हैं। इसी दौरान, एनएसई का निवेशक संरक्षण कोष (आईपीएफ) 31 अगस्त, 2025 तक लगभग 21% वार्षिक वृद्धि के साथ 2,644 करोड़ रुपए दर्ज किया गया।
एनएसई के चीफ बिज़नेस डेवलपमेंट ऑफिसर श्री श्रीराम कृष्णन ने कहा, : इस वर्ष, हमने निवेशक आधार के मामले में एक और महत्वपूर्ण उपलब्धि हासिल की है। जनवरी में 11 करोड़ के पार जाने के बाद, यह सराहनीय है कि लगभग आठ महीनों में एनएसई के निवेशकों की संख्या में एक और करोड़ की वृद्धि हुई है, जबकि वैश्विक व्यापार और भू-राजनीति की परिस्थितियों को लेकर निरंतर चिंताएँ बनी रही थीं। इस स्थिर वृद्धि के पीछे कई प्रमुख कारण हैं: सरल केवाईसी प्रक्रिया, हितधारकों द्वारा संचालित निवेशक जागरूकता कार्यक्रमों के माध्यम से वित्तीय साक्षरता में सुधार और सकारात्मक बाजार भावना। शेयर, एक्सचेंज-ट्रेडेड फंड (ईटीएफ), रियल एस्टेट इन्वेस्टमेंट ट्रस्ट (आरईआईटी), इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर इन्वेस्टमेंट ट्रस्ट (इन्वआईटी), सरकारी बॉन्ड और कॉर्पोरेट बॉन्ड सहित एक्सचेंज-ट्रेडेड इंस्ट्रूमेंट्स में बढ़ती भागीदारी इन कारकों को उजागर करती है।”
