हजारीबाग, 15 अक्टूबर 2025 : इंटर-यूनिवर्सिटी सेंटर फॉर एस्ट्रोनॉमी एंड एस्ट्रोफिजिक्स (IUCAA), पुणे के प्रो. (डॉ.) कनक साहा का आमंत्रित व्याख्यान आज आर्यभट्ट सभागार, विनोबा भावे विश्वविद्यालय, हजारीबाग में आयोजित हुआ। कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ प्रातः 11:30 बजे पौधा भेंट कर अतिथि स्वागत से हुआ। डॉ. गोविंद कुमार झा (विभागाध्यक्ष, गणित विभाग) ने स्वागत भाषण दिया।
व्याख्यान की विषयवस्तु
प्रो. साहा ने “एक्सोप्लैनेट्स से लेकर उच्च रेडशिफ्ट आकाशगंगाओं तक ब्रह्मांड की खोज” विषय पर रोचक और ज्ञानवर्धक व्याख्यान दिया। उन्होंने ब्रह्मांडीय संरचनाओं के निर्माण और विकास से संबंधित अपने शोध पर चर्चा की, जिसमें आकाशगंगाओं की गतिकी, डार्क मैटर का वितरण, मिल्की वे के डायनेमिकल मॉडलिंग, और सुपरमैसिव ब्लैक होल्स की भूमिका जैसे पहलुओं को शामिल किया गया।
उन्होंने बताया कि IUCAA विश्वविद्यालयों और महाविद्यालयों के शोधकर्ताओं को वित्तीय, तकनीकी और अनुसंधान सुविधा प्रदान करता है तथा एस्ट्रोनॉमी और एस्ट्रोफिजिक्स में शिक्षण एवं आउटरीच कार्यक्रमों को प्रोत्साहित करता है।
शिक्षकों और छात्रों की सहभागिता
कार्यक्रम में एम.एससी. गणित और भौतिकी के छात्र-छात्राओं, शिक्षकों एवं शोधार्थियों ने बड़ी संख्या में भाग लिया।
डॉ. लक्ष्मी शिवेश्वती (विभागाध्यक्ष, भौतिकी विभाग) और डॉ. नवीन चंद्र ने प्रो. साहा के खगोलभौतिकीय योगदानों की सराहना की।
कार्यक्रम का समापन डॉ. पंकज मांझी (परीक्षा नियंत्रक) के धन्यवाद ज्ञापन से हुआ।
यह व्याख्यान विद्यार्थियों के लिए अत्यंत प्रेरणादायक और ज्ञानवर्धक सिद्ध हुआ, जिसने उनके भीतर ब्रह्मांड और खगोल विज्ञान की गहराइयों को समझने की नई जिज्ञासा जगाई।
