एंटोड फार्मास्युटिकल्स और मातानंद फाउंडेशन ने चलाया युवाओं की आंखों को बचाने के लिए देश का सबसे बड़ा मायोपिया जागरूकता अभियान

पटना, नवंबर 2025: बच्चों और युवाओं में तेजी से बढ़ रहे मायोपिया के खतरे को देखते हुए एंटोड फार्मास्युटिकल्स, मातानंद वेलफेयर फाउंडेशन और स्ट्रैबिस्मस एंड पीडियाट्रिक ऑफ्थल्मोलॉजी सोसाइटी ऑफ इंडिया (SIPOSI) ने मिलकर राष्ट्रीय मायोपिया सप्ताह 2025 का आयोजन किया। यह एक राष्ट्रव्यापी जागरूकता अभियान था, जो 14 से 20 नवंबर तक चला और इसकी थीम थी — #OperationMyopia (ऑपरेशन मायोपिया) – युवा आंखों की सुरक्षा के लिए मिशन।

अभियान में देशभर के डॉक्टर और वॉलंटियर्स जुड़े

• देश भर से 2,500 से ज़्यादा नेत्र विशेषज्ञ और 5,000 वॉलंटियर्स इस अभियान का हिस्सा बने।
• यह पहल माता-पिता, बच्चों और शिक्षकों को जागरूक करने पर केंद्रित रही, ताकि मायोपिया के बढ़ते मामलों को समय पर पहचाना और रोका जा सके।
• बाल दिवस (14 नवंबर) को लॉन्च हुए इस कार्यक्रम में बच्चों में शुरुआती नेत्र देखभाल और नियमित आंखों की जांच पर जोर दिया गया।

मायोपिया मामलों में तेज बढ़ोतरी

ताज़ा अध्ययनों से पता चला है कि:

• पटना और बिहार के कई शहरों में 5 से 15 वर्ष के बच्चों में 18–22% मायोपिया के मरीज पाए जा रहे हैं।
• 2018 की तुलना में यह संख्या लगभग दोगुनी है।
• इसका मुख्य कारण है — ज्यादा स्क्रीन टाइम, कम आउटडोर गतिविधियाँ और डिजिटल लर्निंग पर बढ़ती निर्भरता।

विशेषज्ञों की चेतावनी

डॉ. नागेंद्र प्रसाद, डायरेक्टर, बुद्धा आई केयर एंड लेजर सेंटर, कंकरबाग, पटना ने बताया:

“पटना में 6 से 14 साल के करीब 20% बच्चे मायोपिया से प्रभावित हैं।
स्क्रीन टाइम कम करना, रोज़ कम से कम 90 मिनट आउटडोर खेल, और साल में एक बार आंखों की जांच करवाना बेहद ज़रूरी है।”

‘मायोपिया प्रतिज्ञा’ अभियान को भारी भागीदारी

इस साल का मुख्य आकर्षण रहा राष्ट्रीय मायोपिया प्रतिज्ञा, जिसे
www.nationalmyopiaweek.org पर आयोजित किया गया।

• अभिभावकों ने ऑनलाइन प्रतिज्ञा लेकर बच्चों की सालाना आंखों की जांच कराने का संकल्प लिया।
• प्रतिभागियों को डिजिटल प्रतिज्ञा प्रमाणपत्र भी उपलब्ध कराया गया।

7 करोड़ लोगों तक पहुंचने का लक्ष्य

राष्ट्रीय मायोपिया सप्ताह के पिछले संस्करणों के माध्यम से लाखों लोग जागरूक हुए हैं।
इस वर्ष एंटोड ने:

• अभियान को 450 जिलों तक विस्तार देने
• और 7 करोड़ से अधिक लोगों तक पहुंचने का लक्ष्य तय किया है।

स्कूल, समुदाय और अस्पतालों में कई गतिविधियाँ

अभियान के दौरान देशभर में:

• स्कूल आधारित विज़न स्क्रीनिंग और शैक्षिक सत्र
• नेत्र विशेषज्ञों द्वारा इंटरैक्टिव वर्कशॉप
• अस्पतालों में निवारक नेत्र देखभाल पर परामर्श
• क्षेत्रीय भाषाओं में जागरूकता सामग्री
• दिल्ली, मुंबई, हैदराबाद, बेंगलुरु, चेन्नई, लखनऊ, पुणे, कोलकाता सहित कई शहरों में रेड एफएम के साथ रेडियो अभियान
  आयोजित किए गए।

भविष्य की चुनौती को ध्यान में रखते हुए कदम

एंटोड फार्मास्युटिकल्स के एक्जीक्यूटिव डायरेक्टर निखिल के. मसुरकर ने कहा:

“अध्ययन बताते हैं कि 2050 तक दुनिया की करीब आधी आबादी मायोपिया से प्रभावित हो सकती है।
