अमर शहीद परमवीर चक्र विजेता वीर अल्बर्ट एक्का की नई प्रतिमा निर्माण का शुभारंभ

गुमला: अमर शहीद परमवीर चक्र विजेता वीर अल्बर्ट एक्का की नई प्रतिमा स्थापना की दिशा में गुमला जिला प्रशासन ने एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम उठाते हुए शनिवार को प्रतिमा निर्माण कार्य का विधिवत शुभारंभ किया। इसके लिए वीर अल्बर्ट एक्का की पैतृक भूमि अल्बर्ट एक्का जारी से लाई गई पवित्र मिट्टी को पूजा-अर्चना के साथ प्रस्तावित स्थल की नींव में स्थापित किया गया।

मिट्टी उठाव का कार्य अंचल अधिकारी, वीर अल्बर्ट एक्का के सुपुत्र, पंचायत प्रमुख और जारी प्रखंड के चर्च फादर की उपस्थिति में धार्मिक विधि-विधान के साथ सम्पन्न हुआ। बाद में यह मिट्टी गुमला ले जाकर मुख्य कार्यक्रम में सम्मानपूर्वक प्रतिमा स्थल पर स्थापित की गई।

कार्यक्रम में अपर समाहर्ता शशिंद्र कुमार बड़ाइक, DCLR राजीव कुमार, SDO सदर राजीव नीरज, SDO चैनपुर पूर्णिमा कुमारी, भूतपूर्व सैनिक और अन्य पदाधिकारी उपस्थित रहे।

इस अवसर पर अपर समाहर्ता शशिंद्र कुमार बड़ाइक ने बताया कि नई प्रतिमा पहले से बड़ी और अधिक भव्य होगी। प्रतिमा स्थल का सौंदर्यीकरण भी कराया जा रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि—
“प्रतिमा निर्माण कार्य 20 दिसंबर तक पूरा कर लिया जाएगा और वीर अल्बर्ट एक्का की जन्मतिथि 27 दिसंबर 2025 को इसे जिलेवासियों को समर्पित किया जाएगा।”

भूतपूर्व सैनिकों द्वारा पुरानी प्रतिमा के क्षतिग्रस्त होने की जानकारी मिलने के बाद उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित ने तत्काल नई प्रतिमा निर्माण एवं ऊँचाई बढ़ाने के प्रस्ताव को स्वीकृति दी थी।

जिला प्रशासन ने कहा कि वीरता की इस गौरवशाली विरासत को आने वाली पीढ़ियों तक प्रेरणा के रूप में पहुँचाना उनकी प्राथमिकता है।
