महिला अधिवक्ताओं के लिए आरक्षण स्वागत योग्य कदम : चुन्नू कांत

गिरिडीह: जिला अधिवक्ता संघ के महासचिव चुन्नू कांत ने कहा कि स्टेट बार काउंसिल के चुनाव में महिला अधिवक्ताओं के लिए आरक्षण स्वागत योग्य कदम है। मीडिया से बातचीत के क्रम में मंगलवार को उन्होंने कहा कि झारखंड बार काउंसिल में 25 सदस्यों का चुनाव होना है। अभी जो आरक्षण की व्यवस्था की गई है उसमें 20% स्थान चुनाव से और 10% स्थान मनोनयन से पूरा होगा।

महिला अधिवक्ताओं के लिए आरक्षण के प्रावधान से कई फायदे होंगे। लोकतंत्र में आधी आबादी वाले मातृशक्ति को सम्मान देना लोकतंत्र की व्यवस्था को मजबूत करना है। ऐसे में महिला आरक्षण से जो समिति बनेगी वह और भी सबल और मजबूत होगी। अभी महिला अधिवक्ताओं के लिए उनके कार्य क्षेत्र स्थल मेंअनुकूल वातावरण नहीं है। उनके लिए बैठने की और अन्य रोजमरा की सुविधाओं की कमी देखी जाती है। परिषद में जब महिला अधिक चुनकर आएंगी तो इन सारे सवालों पर गंभीरता से विचार होगा।

श्री कांत ने इस फैसला का स्वागत करते हुए बार काउंसिल आफ इंडिया के चेयरमैन मनन मिश्रा जी का आभार व्यक्त किया। इस मामले में उन्होंने उच्चतम न्यायालय के प्रति आभार व्यक्त किया। कहा कि जिनके हस्तक्षेप से यह फलाफल सामने आया है।
