गुमला नगर परिषद की टीम की बड़ी कार्रवाई, 1,33 बंडल प्रतिबंधित प्लास्टिक जब्त

गुमला : – गुमला उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित के निर्देश के आलोक में नगर परिषद गुमला की स्वच्छता एवं प्रवर्तन टीम ने आज विशेष जांच अभियान चलाते हुए बाजार क्षेत्र में बड़ी कार्रवाई की। अभियान के दौरान टीम ने दुकानों एवं गोदामों की तलाशी में कुल 1,33 बंडल प्रतिबंधित प्लास्टिक जब्त किए एवं 2,000 रुपये का आर्थिक दंड भी वसूला गया।

नगर परिषद द्वारा बार-बार चेतावनी देने के बावजूद भी कई दुकानदार प्रतिबंधित प्लास्टिक सामग्री का उपयोग और बिक्री कर रहे थे। इसी के मद्देनज़र परिषद ने सख़्ती दिखाते हुए यह कार्यवाही की।

नगर परिषद अधिकारियों ने बताया कि पर्यावरण संरक्षण और स्वच्छता को ध्यान में रखते हुए प्लास्टिक प्रतिबंध के नियमों का सख्ती से पालन कराया जाएगा। उल्लंघन करने वालों पर जुर्माना एवं आगे और कठोर कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

नगर परिषद ने आम नागरिकों और व्यापारियों से भी अपील की है कि वे प्रतिबंधित प्लास्टिक का उपयोग तुरंत बंद करें और पर्यावरण-अनुकूल सामग्री का प्रयोग करें।
