सहिया दीदियों की सक्रिय भूमिका से गुमला में मातृ स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं में उल्लेखनीय सुधार

गुमला। जिले में मातृ स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं को सुदृढ़ करने और गुणवत्तापूर्ण एएनसी (Ante Natal Care) सुनिश्चित करने के उद्देश्य से उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित के निर्देश पर जिला प्रशासन एवं स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा समन्वित रूप से एक प्रभावी पहल संचालित की जा रही है। इस पहल में सहिया दीदियों की सक्रिय भागीदारी से समुदाय स्तर पर गर्भावस्था की समय पर पहचान और देखभाल सुनिश्चित हो रही है।

इस कार्यक्रम के तहत जिले की सहिया दीदियों ने अपने-अपने कार्यक्षेत्र में सभी Eligible Couples का व्यापक सर्वेक्षण किया है। सर्वेक्षण के उपरांत Menstruation Register का संधारण किया गया है, जिसमें गांव की सभी विवाहित महिलाओं का विवरण दर्ज है। यह रजिस्टर अब गर्भावस्था की प्रारंभिक पहचान का एक सशक्त और भरोसेमंद माध्यम बन गया है। सहिया दीदियां प्रत्येक माह सूची के अनुसार महिलाओं से व्यक्तिगत संपर्क कर मासिक धर्म की स्थिति की जानकारी लेती हैं। मासिक धर्म न होने की स्थिति में Pregnancy Test Kit (PKT) के माध्यम से जांच कराई जाती है और परिणाम सकारात्मक होने पर महिला का तत्काल एएनसी रजिस्टर में पंजीकरण सुनिश्चित किया जाता है।

इस सुव्यवस्थित और नियमित प्रक्रिया के सकारात्मक परिणाम जिले में स्पष्ट रूप से सामने आ रहे हैं। वर्तमान में लगभग 99 प्रतिशत गर्भवती महिलाओं का एएनसी पंजीकरण सुनिश्चित किया जा चुका है, जिससे अधिकांश महिलाएं स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं के दायरे में आ सकी हैं। वहीं, लगभग 92 प्रतिशत महिलाओं का First Trimester में ही एएनसी पंजीकरण हो चुका है, जो सुरक्षित मातृत्व की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण उपलब्धि मानी जा रही है। समय पर पंजीकरण से गर्भवती महिलाओं को नियमित जांच, आवश्यक परामर्श और गुणवत्तापूर्ण स्वास्थ्य सेवाएं समयबद्ध रूप से उपलब्ध हो पा रही हैं।

यह पहल सहिया दीदियों की सक्रिय भागीदारी, नियमित फॉलो-अप और समुदाय के साथ उनके मजबूत जुड़ाव का उत्कृष्ट उदाहरण है। उनके निरंतर प्रयासों से न केवल मातृ स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं की गुणवत्ता में उल्लेखनीय सुधार हुआ है, बल्कि मातृ एवं शिशु मृत्यु दर में कमी लाने की दिशा में भी यह एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम साबित हो रहा है। गुमला जिले में सहिया दीदियों द्वारा अपनाई गई यह सरल, कम लागत वाली और अत्यंत प्रभावी रणनीति Quality ANC सुनिश्चित करने की दिशा में एक प्रेरणादायक सफलता की कहानी बनकर उभरी है।
