गुमला। जिले के बिशनपुर प्रखंड अंतर्गत बेती ग्राम पुल के पास शनिवार को एक दर्दनाक सड़क हादसे में 22 वर्षीय युवक की मौत हो गई, जबकि उसका साथी घायल हो गया। मृतक की पहचान बनारी गांव निवासी संतोष उरांव के रूप में हुई है।
प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार, संतोष उरांव अपने दोस्त कार्तिक उरांव के साथ बाइक से बेती गांव की ओर से लौट रहा था। इसी दौरान पुल के पास बाइक अनियंत्रित होकर सड़क किनारे स्थित एक पेड़ से जा टकराई। टक्कर इतनी तेज थी कि संतोष गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गया, जबकि कार्तिक को हल्की चोटें आईं।
घटना की सूचना मिलते ही बिशनपुर थाना पुलिस ने त्वरित कार्रवाई करते हुए एसआई कुंदन कुमार सिंह के नेतृत्व में दल-बल के साथ मौके पर पहुंचकर स्थानीय लोगों की मदद से घायल संतोष को बिशनपुर सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र पहुंचाया, जहां चिकित्सकों ने उसे मृत घोषित कर दिया। इसके बाद पुलिस ने शव को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए सदर अस्पताल, गुमला भेजा। पोस्टमार्टम के उपरांत शव परिजनों को सौंप दिया गया।
मृतक के परिजन जय मंगल उरांव ने बताया कि संतोष हिमाचल प्रदेश में मजदूरी करता था और शनिवार को ही वहां से घर लौटा था। परिवार के साथ कुछ समय बिताने के बाद वह दोस्त के साथ घूमने निकला था। परिजनों के अनुसार, हादसे के वक्त संतोष ने हेलमेट नहीं पहना था, जिससे सिर में गंभीर चोट लगने और अधिक खून बहने के कारण उसकी मौत होने की आशंका है।
इधर, परिजनों ने बिशनपुर सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र पर लापरवाही का आरोप लगाया है। उनका कहना है कि गंभीर अवस्था में लाए जाने के बावजूद स्वास्थ्य केंद्र में ऑक्सीजन की पर्याप्त व्यवस्था नहीं थी, जिससे संतोष की जान नहीं बचाई जा सकी। वहीं, घायल कार्तिक उरांव का प्राथमिक उपचार के बाद अस्पताल से छुट्टी दे दी गई।
पुलिस मामले की जांच में जुटी हुई है।
